Bought one a week ago, and it’s awesome. The smarts built-in really takes away the guess work. Using this machine still allows you to be in control just like a Barista. Great product! Excellent design and development. I’ll be trying > 30 day roasted beans soon and will find out if taste will be just as good as < 30days. Frothing is just as awesome with dairy and alternates. Thanks for an awesome review. Cheers!

Good video, very instructive. Just got my machine a few days ago and am enjoying it immensely. The learning curve isn’t bad at all, but I’m still experimenting with what the machine can do.
I do agree with another viewer who wrote about the difficulty in getting espresso machines fixed by Breville. My dual boiler had just completed its warranty period, when condensation entered the display screen. When I sent it in, Breville said they couldn’t repair it (bring it up to manufacturer standards, was their term). So I used a discount to buy the Express Impress, a better machine for me.

thank you for a great overview!
It would be great if you could do a comparison between Oracle and this Impress Touch. Really curious about technical differences, can we adjust the amount of ground per shot, etc. I like smaller single shots, about 8-10gr, would I be able to adjust the weight of grounds on it?
    Thank you in advance!

I'm leaving the Nespresso (Expensive capsules with alumunium) and my Keurig (bad coffee) to this exact machine.
Coming from France, I've always been used to drinking good coffees and not black water (Keurig).
I'm receiving this machine tomorrow, but really for Christmas. Amazon had a deal on Friday for $900 (US), which was a no brainer for me.

I ordered mine and expecting to receive it tomorrow. It seems like a great machine! My question is pre-warming the cup and portafilter. It wasn’t addressed here yet most baristas will say that doing this is crucial. Can you give me any feedback on this? Also, after reading some of these comments I’m concerned about receiving defective merchandise especially since you replied to someone below that you haven’t sold a huge number yet. Returning s product of this size is a hassle so fingers crossed. BTW, I’ve seen other RUclips reviews and yours is by far the best! Thank you!

Update on my previous post. I received mine today and at first was a bit overwhelmed but once I got started everything flowed seemlessly. The quality of the brew is beyond belief. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had such a good cup of coffee. I don’t say this lightly. I’ve had an expensive Italian espresso machine for years but could not achieve the quality that I have with the Touch Impress. So glad I took the leap!

Warming the cup is simple and keeps brew warmer, but makes no difference to the taste.

I bought one and sent is back.
It really is a good machine but mine came with a fun problem.
I sent it back after it shut off 4 different times when starting the steaming function.
It would grind then brew just fine.. but about 2 seconds into steaming it would go dark.
I would turn on and finish the steaming with the Milk only selection.
I'm sure this will be a one off problem but that was a real bummer.
With that being said it tasted better than any large brand coffee shop and I will probably buy again once I get my refund.

This is a brand new product so we haven't sold a huge amount of these but we have not had this reported nor is it a problem with the Barista Touch which this machine was based on so I do think it was just unlucky and a one off.

I just bought one as well and have the same issue. The machine shuts off during steaming milk product with a quick message on the screen that starts with “Operation Failure”. It has more text, but the power shuts off so quickly that I couldn’t read the rest. This has happened to me about 4 times in a week-disturbing. I called my retailer to record the issue and will watch for this the next few days to see if this continues and forces me to return it. Otherwise the machine is terrific to use with great build quality.

My new Sage Barista Touch Impress machine arrived today and everything seems to be working fine apart from the following.
When putting the portafilter into the loading dock, is it normal to have 25mm - 30mm sideways movement & also some up and down movement. When tamping the portafilter moves slightly up and down? I have not noticed this on your RUclips video.
Apart from the above everything is working normally and I have “dialed in” very quickly using fresh coffee beans.

You reduced the milk temperature from 65 to 55 degrees but the subsequent views showed 65 retained. Did you edit the milk temperature change into the final video as an afterthought or did the machine fail to register the new milk temperature?

Got mine last week and after a couple of days I started having issues with the steam wand being "blocked" after every single coffee I make. I have done the cleaning process 4 or 5 consecutive times already (after 4 or 5 coffees) and I can confirm that there's no blockage at all, but I keep getting the same message. I've performed a factory reset but the problem persists. I've created a case with Breville/Sage support and I guess I'll hear from them after the weekend, but it looks like I just had bad luck with a defective machine. If I turn it off after getting the "Blocked!" message and turn it on again, I can make steam milk without any issues but I get the message again as soon as the process is done and I put the wand back down after cleaning it. Has anyone had a similar issue with this machine?

Hi there, is this issue resolved? How was support from Breville?

    • @juan294
      @juan294 7 месяцев назад

@@cokuzaklar hi, Sage support asked for videos showing the issue and then send a return label for DHL to pick up the machine. I don’t want to spend 2 weeks without the coffee machine so I asked if I could get one before sending the current machine (against my credit card to make it safe for them) and they didn’t reply. After a few days I gave up and scheduled the pickup for this week. Let’s see how it goes from here on.
