I'm a simple man... I see Final Fantasy VIII & Elizabeth Zharhoff, I clicked 😅
The voice. The original and most powerful instrument to communicate between living creatures. It resonates with all our body. It touches our nerves, it squeeze our guts, it runs under our skin, it cause our body and mind to react. And on top of that, some kind of noises are quite universal, for example a cry for help it's very similar between different species. When I think about it I'm overwhelmed and truly in awe. I know this is not much related to this song, but those where my first thoughts after the first listening. Thank you. Love you from Italy ♡

Whilst FF7 is my favourite, FF8 had such an incredible soundtrack that just can’t be ignored. Amazing cover 😁👍
FF8 probably has the best soundtrack from all the games. It's just endless bangers. I don't exactly care for the game all that much... But Uematsu was beyond on point
FF4 is my fav while 7 was my first FF and in "modern" FF that would be FF9 (fav) i really hate the main chars in 7 and 8 ( mostly cloud and barret for the 7 and squall and rinoa for the 8)!
the problem was that back in the day we all loved FFVII so much that FFVIII and FFIX both sucked dirty old balls and killed the series. They did a good redemption job with FFX because that series was dead in the water. The sound tracks on the original versions of VIII and IX didn't matter at the time because both were just dumpster trash follow ups to a game that bookmarked a specific gaming generation.

@@ihateusernamesgrrr well ff7 was my first but for me one of the worst my fav is FF4 and for "modern one" FF9 and i don't really like ff7, ff8 and ff10 (whose for me is the worst FF both in chars and gameplay) well my favorite "well know" Jrpg series is Megami tensei ( more the personnas ( except the 5)) and my 2 all times fav are less know "wild arms" ( the first one is my fav JRPG) and ar tonelico!

I've only listened twice, but I think I'm hearing nice dark D3s along with high notes well into the soprano range. And the different timbres you can use are wonderful. Crisp, bell-like highs. Full, dark lows. Lots of stuff in between. I actually thought you had brought in a couple of other singers to join you. But after reading the description, it looks like it's all you. Well done.

Recently replayed it, and there were probably 10 times where I just put the controller down to appreciate a song I had completely forgotten existed, but I still knew every note to. Such a step up from 7, which was already leagues ahead of 6.
