Such a well thought out system! I loved seeing how you made all your EDC components work. I’ve started using a Filofax Malden Mini as my wallet, but will move into a minimal card wallet when I need to pare down even more. I’m a little concerned about your security, but maybe I’m projecting because I’ve never lived or worked anywhere that I could safely leave anything of even minimal value visible inside my car.
I have seen the mini Filofax on instagram and it looks sooooo adorable. I personally am not a fan of Filofax covers. I don't know why... but when I see the mini- I ask myself....should I get one??? LOL. I live in a very safe place but even then, I dont leave my items out- especially my LV. Whatever I don't take with me goes into my center console where it is hidden. hope that makes sense! @@MyMoxieDreams I can understand why Filofax covers don’t do it for you - I’m guessing it’s the quality of the leather. TBH, Malden leather is kind of plasticky. But it is a pretty little wallet/organizer and the duck egg color works great for me as a spring/summer wallet.
goodness N! I use my pocket as a wallet too!!!! I have actually found that Goodwill was a wonderful place to find my SLGs at amazing prices.
I understand why you have the credit card numbers in the EDC now and I may have to add that to my system 🙂
I was laughing because its nice to see others with the same organization mindset as I do hehehehehe I have a pouches for my emergency items too lol
I change my purse daily but I find it easy to just move the #5-6 pouches including my EDC. I was thinking of getting a purse organizer to fit inside my purse, so I can just take one thing out and move into the purses daily.
I am just happy that there are others who think the way I do 🙂 if not I will feel like I am all over the place!

Isn't the pocket just so convenient?!! I love mine. OMG- I have a thrift store in a very ritzy area and I always find goodies there. some of my favorite items I got at a thrift store, My 1st Compact being one of them. Yes, I have a lot of people question why I have my cc # in my EDC - I am glad it makes sense- I think a lot of people will understand now that I have shared. I saw a RUclips video recently about a girl who has a backpack and she does exactly that- she puts everything in her organizer and shifts that around between her bags. I agree that might be an awesome way to easily move things around. Keep me posted, I would love to know how that works out for you!!! Thanks for watching!!

I just have to take my EDC with me when I leave the house. 95% of the time it stays in the car & I never touch it till I get home, but I’m just afraid that I may get “stuck” somewhere or have to go somewhere unexpected and want it with me. 😬

I think that somewhere along the way in the planner community- it was implied that you weren't a "real" planner if you didnt take your EDC everywhere. I think that works for some people but for me... it is just 1. not realistic and 2. not needed. I think you should find your comfort zone. would love to hear how your EDC evolves for you!!!

I have watched all of the videos and I get your system. You are motivating me to clean and organize my work back pack. I have a question/ comment. I didn’t like the Franklin convey paper when I used it years ago how is it now in your opinion?
That is awesome! Thank you for watching. And...sadly the Franklin Covey Paper still is horrible. The only ones I buy are the monthlies because they are heavier weight paper. the normal dailies, notes paper etc- is so bad. worse than regular copy paper. 😔

I have a question for anyone that wants to chime in. How long did it take for you to figure out what to put in your planner and what stores you like and don’t like?
Hi! As I have mentioned in several videos I have 1000% evolved. I think for many it is an evolution. I always tell people to start with a sheet of paper. What do you tend to write down? what do you need or reach for on a daily basis? is it to do lists, is it a tracker or calendar view you need. I think you just figure it out and keep figuring it out... I guess. I am not really a planner store person- but I know that my monthlies HAVE to be tabbed and sturdy tabs are a must. So Franklin Covey monthlies are the only ones I use. as far as inserts- I can never find exactly what I am looking for, so I create them. My favorite digital planner inserts are from Simple and Trendy Co, DOAA inspiring design and Creffective paper. anyway- sorry for the paragraph. lol. I would love to see what others say....

You leaving your wallet in your car is making me hyperventilate 😂 in TX you CANNOT leave anything in your car or you are inviting a smash and grab. It pisses me off. Stupid criminals.
Too funny! I've gotten this sense of panic from many. I promise I have common sense. 😉. Which ever one I do not take with-m gets placed in my center console that is locked. I live near San Francisco and sadly we have the smash and grab times 10000% here. Stores have closed in many cities in the Bay Area due the brazen criminals - it is crazy!! Thankfully, I live in a gorgeous and safe town where I don't have to worry about craziness like that. 🙏🏼

Lori!!! Of course I don't think that!!! You are not the only one who has shared their anxiety about it as well. LOL I think because I showed the little car insert where my two wallets live and I wasn't clear what happens to them when not in use. Oh yes, it is quite sad when is happening everywhere really. I heard recently that an In & Out and a Target was closing in the Bay Area for continued grab and go thefts. What is this world coming to. Back in my day (my kids laugh each time I say it) if we stole a 10cent candy- my mom would drive us to the store, apologize pay the candy and not get to eat it. now a days- things are so different. :( Big hugs Lori!!
