- Rittenhouse, who pleaded not guilty, was acquitted on all charges. The 18-year-old shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, and injured Gaige Grosskreutz during protests in Aug. 2020.

How is the news still stating that he doesn’t know this community? His dad, grandmother, aunt, uncle & cousins all live there. He worked in Kenosha. His best friend lives in Kenosha and would have Kyle over every day. He drove 15 miles from his home to Kenosha every day for work and family/friends. How does he not belong in this community?

Until I watched the trial for myself, I didn’t know the gas station where it all started and where Kyle stayed up until they started attacking him, is owned by his grandparents. They came on to his property to attack him.
I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.
I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.
I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.
I didn't know that someone knocked Rittenhouse down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.
I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.
I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.
I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).
I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater. I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.
IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB... we would ALL have known this and tax payers dollars would not be wasted and more division created!

Thank you for this information. I didn't know may of these things, but still I was worrying about Kyle (even though I'm Russian, not American), he went through such hell just trying to protect what had to be protected by policemen.

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial for me and many others was a line in the sand as to just how biased the media is. If it were not for all the actual video, this young man would have been convicted and sent to prison for life. From the video it is obvious this case should not even have been brought.

Notice how Binger said, "I'm disappointed in the verdict." His job as a prosecutor is to be sure a jury gets the evidence they need to reach a verdict and don't let the defense hide anything. Binger thinks it's his job to get convictions. He was prejudiced and should be fired.
Prosecutors move up the ladder by winning cases, especially high profile ones. This way they can move on to being a judge, congressman or senator. So, winning means more to many of them than justice, sad but true
@@kpk547 it’s hard to make a good justice system, and while ours is great in comparison to historical standards, overzealous prosecutors are definitely one of our big issues with justice. The amount of innocent people who accept plea deals because they can’t afford trial is also bad for our system.
Still, we should be grateful for the leaps and bounds our system has made but also stay vigilant to obvious errors so that we can attempt to change them.

My local paper (in Canada) posted and article from the AFP that left an insane amount of information from the trial.
It didn't report the acquittal as much as it left out the reason the acquittal took place. Leaving anyone who don't know about it thinking this was a backwards trial.

Parts of me was always thinking it was because he was at odds with them (which only happened circa 2015).

He actually retreated once it became apparent that the situation was going to escalate to violence. The people he shot were chasing, and then physically assaulting and or threatening his life as he was running away. They were chasing him because they were made he put out a dumpster fire they were attempting to use to light a gas station on fire. There is footage of him running down the road with a fire extinguisher in his hand. However when he realized the people were about to catch up to him, he stood his ground. After that only a few people decided to keep pursuing him for no other reason than to injure or kill him. Those people were shot. It’s a simple case without all the media distortion. It’s insane that even with all of the video evidence it was still so controversial.

They fail to meet the lowest reasonable expectations of our societies values of right, wrong, and just. Self defense is one thing, but minors knowingly walking into violent situations with weapons of war cannot be allowed to be legal. It must be discouraged by the strongest legal means. How could lawmakers let this law go uncorrected until tragedy? Two people are dead and it could have been avoided with a pen.

I saw the full unedited version video and all the people that were killed that night were chasing and attacking Kyle 'first' and most of them had weapons themselves. One of the rioters who was chasing Kyle, fired his gun while he and Rosenbum were chasing Kyle down and that was even before Kyle had fired his own weapon or shot anyone. Also, crossing state lines is not illegal nor a crime and just because you crossed state lines does not void your right to self-defense. Kyle's gun was legal for him to carry as well which is why the gun chargers were dropped and it was even talked about during the trial with the judge and the prosecuting team. Also, Kyle Rittenhouse did not bring that gun across state line either, he got that gun when he was in Kenosha, Wisconsin. All of this has already been proven and talked about in court during the trial. These are things that the extremely biased liberal media from MSNBC and CNN wont tell you though, because they are too busy making it about a race thing and too busy pushing their race narrative to distract you from the facts and the truth in what really happened in the Kyle Rittenhouse case and the shooting that night and it's all on video.

People have the right to bear arms, and Kyle did what he needed to do to protect his community. If a black man does the same thing, I hope he receives the same verdict as Rittenhouse. We shouldn’t hope a white person gets thrown in jail unfairly just so its similar treatment. Our justice system needs reform, but not by putting more people away unjustly.

Huber was a felon convicted in a strangulation case who was recently accused of domestic abuse.
