I'm really sorry that Emmy is losing her ability to eat gluten but I have to admit that I'm really glad that it means more gluten-free content for those of us who already couldn't!
It’s actually wheat she’s been intolerant to but a majority of wheat free recipes are naturally gluten free
Agree! She’s done (at least) 3 gf videos in a row now. Love to see it as a Celiac mom! We will be making her recent cheese video over the summer, that sounds perfect for my kids to try.

Just today, there was a post on Reddit asking about people's favorite RUclips Channels. Of course, Emmy got mentioned, and she was described as "A ball of excitement." But even more than that, she has a huge amount of respect, even when she doesn't like something. It's always "Umm, this isn't for me," and not "EW OMIGOD DISGUSTING!!" even though the algorithm would want her to be that way. That's why I've stuck around all these years. I hope you never change that quality, Emmy :)
@@emmymadeHey Emmy! Greetings from Nevada! I just tried an experiment, based on "saba/mackerel" (the sushi topping)... If I had the means to make a YT video about it, I would, but this is totally your kind of thing...
The idea was, "will it 'saba'"? I tried 5 different frozen fishes commonly found in US supermarkets (none of them mackerel) and followed the traditional way of washing and drying and salting and pressing and washing and drying and marinating and washing and drying, etc... (Pollock, Rock Cod, Whiting, Tilapia, and Swai)... The results were very interesting... I won't say which one turned out the best, but none were bad...
All of them made decent slices for topping nigiri, but one stood out among the others... Can you guess which one?

As a Mexican I recomend tryring the chicharrón with avocado and a little bit of lime juice and green salsa!

Before deep frying the pork skin is boiled until tender, then thoroughly dried (originally sun-dried), and then fried. Regards from sunny Peru (and yes, we love chicharrón).
Yes!! Here in Mexico you can find chicharrón being dried to the sun while walking down the street (and the big pots where they fry it too!!)
When I went to New Orleans I had the most amazing Nachos that were done with pork rind instead of corn chips. Yum.
That’s what came to my mind, to make nachos with them. It seems the flavors would blend better than the pizza flavor
The absolute best thing is when you’ve been watching Emmy for so long, that as you listen to her describe this thing and taste it, you think to yourself “I bet she can’t WAIT to share this one with her boys!!” And then you said it !!!! 😮😅🎉😂❤❤❤

Just to be more in volume (because once crushed, it takes a LOT, lol) I tried 1 well drained 12.5oz can of white meat chicken, 1 egg + 1cup crushed pork rinds + 1/2 c any shredded cheese. Mix well & place onto parchment lined tray. Spread out with fingers (easiest) until as thin as you desire, the thinner, the crispier. Bake in oven at 400 for 20 min. Add sauce/toppings of choice (I put a little alfredo or clean ranch, crispy bacon, cheese blend, pepper) Place back in oven for another 10 min or so until nice & melty/bubbly. Let cool slightly, cut, enjoy! :) Carb free & deeeeelish, imho. Like chicken/bacon/ranch. Could do w/ 2c crushed pork rinds, 1-2 eggs (dep on size) & 1c any shredded cheese. The cheese helps hold it together, makes it a little crispier, rather than soggy AND the oils in the cheese keep it from sticking imho. Hope that helps, enjoy!

Lol, Emmy! I remember cooking a totinos pizza 🍕 I believe, and it had those exact same little balls! of sausage bits with bacon bits or something. That pizza slice looks huge and like festival food item 😋 yum 😋

Those Celeste Aldi pizzas were probably my all time favorite processed frozen pizza. The old recipe is not what you'll find in stores now, I probably don't want the information on why but I loved those things as well

Chicharron is a big favorite of mine. I've had it with Pico de Gallo so this is just another topping. I would definitely eat that way.

I’m don’t eat a lot of carbs so I make a pizza with a low carb burrito wrap. I toast both sides over the stove using olive oil and top with what I like. It’s very good but you have given me ideas on how to improve it.

You can also, do a salsa made with finely choped tomatoes, cilantro, onion, green chile, a squeez of lime, salt, and mix, put on top of chicharron, or you can do tacos of pices of chicharron and top with the salsa

Awww my dad used to always get these GIANT chichoronne from SAARS market. They were like 18 inches long. So crazy big. Must have been HUGE PIGS, I hope. It was guaranteed we would all get the "golly marbles " the next day. Golly marbles=diarrhea. But they sure were yummy.
Pigs are BIG, dude, its just hard to picture when the pig is shrink wrapped at the grocery store.

Maybe cook the pizza with the peppers, onions, sausage, and cheese only, and then squeeze bottle the pizza sauce on it evenly afterward to prevent any sogginess? Just a thought.

I use pork rinds for my pizza crust and breading for chicken tenders.
My mom used to buy us the Celeste pizzas too! they ended up going downhill at some point though and we stopped getting them.

Try a durito! Different people call it different things it's a wheat duro (mexican shops have them) topped with a thin layer of lime mayo, pickled pork rinds sour cream shredded lettuce or cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, avocado and tapatio or valentina :-) everyone makes them different but that's how my dad (from guanajuato mx) makes them
