Belita Woods, Billy "Bass" Nelson, Joel Razor Sharp Johnson, Ray Davis, Junie Morrison, Catfish Collins, Eddie Hazel, Garry Shider, and Bernie Worrell... gone way too soon. My heart aches when I watch these clips. I probably have about 50 P-Funk shows under my belt, in all their various iterations: Parliament-Funkadelic, P-Funk All-Stars, Original P, Bernie Worrell and the Woo Warriors, Maceo and and Fred as the JBs, and of course, Bootsy. Gots to have my Bootsy. More than anybody else, their music has been the soundtrack of my life. The Mothership has given us one hell of a ride! The world of funk that these brothers created is truly astounding when you think about it. So much amazing creativity. Fly on...

The whole band has been an inspiration since I was a kid I remember when they came to Oakland ca and my uncle taking me to they're p-funk tour in 1977 I saw that mothership live and Bootsy tosses a glowing star out to the p-funk fans folks going crazy
