what i think would be cool if since hope can make an army of hybrids if she wanted to they could have a war like a hybrid army vs marcel because marcel is so overpowered that they would need an army of hybrid i dont it would be cool if they were in war or something and klaus makes a kingdom in the outskirts of new orleans and they try to take it back
also it good tvd is ending now they dont have a shared universe and tvd people will be forced to watch it and also they might be able to get charaters from the vampire diaries to join and stuff but i am happy this show is here to stay because if both of them ended i would be very mad since theres no other good supernatural shows besides teen wolf which is ending the only thing that ruin tvd was the 3 year thing it was way to confusing i hope there time jump isnt confusing ether it was so fucking annoying on tvd present future then when we caught up back to past it gave me brain aids so hopefully the originals dont give brain aids too
omg "the poison tree " love seeing how they brought this poem back from season one. I most say if you listen to some of the quotes and poems through the seasons it's amazing and so lost English.
The vampire diaries are ending on the upcoming season, but it's gotten stale. hopefully the originals keep going for at least 2 more seasons
Yea I stopped watching when Nina left cause there really wasn't anything else they could do with the show. The Originals could possible surpass TVD in seasons if it continues putting out great seasons.
Doubtful as it was pushed back for a winter premiere with only half the episodes. Not to mention the ratings were worse than the VD.

GPLeroy I don't know about that but I mean everyone has their own opinion. All I know is ratings wise The originals haven't been doing that great period. With The VD ending I don't see the ratings improving for the Originals.
rating isn't equal quality,TO might be a better show but it's not a hit with US and globally it's a flop
HOLY CRAP! I am a HUGE Vampire Diaries fan but this show is very surprising pleasantly good! Its so interesting and I really like it! Congrats to the creators for making another amazing show and the acting is great! I used boxxy software and didn’t disappointed. It has subtitles in different languages and works great. I highly recommend to see The Originals.

We all knew Hope was going to be older afterall in VD, Caroline was told Klaus has been gone for over 3 years so that was given. It is given that Klaus and the family will be saved, the first couple of episodes will be about that before the family rejoins the living. The main issue is going to be Klaus psyche, while his siblings 'rested', Klaus was trapped in unimagineable agony, that will obviously screw with his mind. In fact, I read that this could actually turn Klaus evil, the Klaus who didn't give a crap about anyone other than himself who had no emotional attachahment. Whatever the case, it is going to be a long struggle for Klaus.

Well at least we have an idea on how big the time jump will be. Hope is at least 7 or 8 years old now. Poor Klaus, can't imagine how upset he'll be when he's learned that he missed 6 or 7 years of his kids life.

tvd is finally ending, and The original is finally the main vampire tv show currently, hope some character of tvd are in the originals but just as recurring because some of the character can bring extra plot twist to the original arc storyline! hope to see a evolution to hayley, i mean hope she can mature more as a werewolf or hybrid. hope that maybe an ancient werewolf clan , can be introduce and maybe possibly be main villain in season 5

Although I love TVD but I know it is time to end it before it gets ruined by stupid storylines....but TO was since the beginning awesome. And season 4 seems epic.... I hope TO will last at least 8 seasons like TVD.
The spin off was on one hand a good idea, on the other hand I would have loved to see TVD and TO as one like before... I guess with the Salvatores helping the Mikaelsons the series would have been more awesome but who knows maybe some TVD characters will join TO.
Sadly with the show being moved to mid season i do not see them lasting past 5 seasons might only get 13 episodes for season 4 which will be horrible and rushed

just finished the originals s3 (for the 4th time) and came back to see this. ABSOLUTE CINEMA.
Finally meeting up with the tvd timeline of five years and hope she is all grown up now and walking an talking and ready to take on the world lol

Why, he did right by Davina. He is the only who did.
Me too. After everything he did, there should be a show down where he is either the ultimate victor with every Mikaelson dead - including Hayley and Rebekah or Marcel is killed permanently. Why would anyone want him dead? Because it makes sense for the Mikaelsons to permanently put down anyone whose done what Marcel did. Anything other than that - is poor writing and fan-girling/boying.
NG Exactly him being a good character to some does not warrant him staying alive after everything he did, look at everyone who has done even less to them most are dead he almost succeeded in killing the whole family and he has put Klaus in a fate worse than death for years. if e doesn't die then there had better be a damn good reason

There have been rumors about Davina returning to help stop Marcel and to save Kol. And it was also rumored that she would be the one to free Klaus but I could only see Davina helping Klaus if it benefited someone she loved, Kol.

They could have still gave us a full season no matter if it does need time to build a story, because they could do the same thing as they will in January when season 4 starts. I believe the true story is about ratings. The ratings have been going down each season has came along. It still gets great ratings but not to give us a full season. It is just the CW trying to save money on cost of production, but still wants to milk the show for all they can. It is my favorite show on TV, but I feel we might also get a season 5 but I also feel it might be the last one..

Klaus is by far my favorite character! There is no Original without him! They really have written a great show and stories! I really wanted Cami and Klaus together, great slow burn, then never fulfilled! Want to see the main characters all back! Klaus to see Hope again and how they interact! Hoping for more then just season 4! Will keep tuning in, always integrated to see what we'll see happen! Want to see Klaus back at the top of his game! Along has we see growth or more of a arc to his story! Klaus is a bad ass and he may lost some this last year but I want to see him back on top!
I think that TO is way better than TVD, mostly because TVD got rid of Elena and Katherine (best characters in my opinion, possibly rayna cruz too). But TO season 3 was kinda boring and when they killed of Davina, no coming back from what happened to her, i was all like nooo thats my favorite character, its like they killed Elena or Katherine again. I just thought that the next season would be boring like all of the Vampire Diaries after they killed Elena( sorry, she's in a coma, cuz people care, she is still gone) But with this trailer, i had hope again for TO, Hope is all grown up, its crazy. It got me even more hyped because i remember that dahlia said the first born in each generation would be the most powerful witch(even more powerful than freya) and what makes her even more powerful is that she has vampire and werewolf blood in her. I just hope they don't ruin this next season, and make it great as it was in season 1 and 2.
