True. Cami did a lot as well, he deserved to be happy with Cami or Caroline. Even though she turned on Klaus for Jackson she never truly let him die or suffer forever. I felt they were strong before and after Jackson. She believed in him and understood him and he knew that. People think it was just because of hope and partly was but mostly because they were so much alike. She could grasp what many couldn’t. They helped each other, he helped her get he pack to accept her back in season 2 and she learned from him even if she was too proud to admit it. She defended Klaus to mikael without truly knowing their story in full, I always thought it was because she saw how strong yet broken he was.
Klaus had such a good character development. He hates her and didn’t want the baby or her around at the beginning, then he started to love Hayley and the baby and honestly I think he was in love with her and that’s why he hated her and Elijah together. You could tell he rly loved her bc when she died the person that was the most hurt and broken was klaus.

I think Klaus truly cared for Hayley as someone he could look to for help and confide in. Hayley became the person we see in the last episode because of Klaus and the way he treated her. Klaus became the person he is with the help of Hayley and the rest of his family. Klaus and Hayley’s relationship will always be a special bond that I cannot help but admire.

Hayley and Klaus, specifically at the end of TO, were the most perfect platonic relationship. They deserved so much more than this. But at least in the end they both loved each other in a way unlike any others I swear these two were meant to be family
Everyone talks about how Klaus changed for Camille, But I truly believe he changed for Hayley. He wanted to be worthy of her, would kneel before a lesser enemy for her life, destroy enemies in sake of her. Klaus to her isn’t _just_ the mother of his child, but also a partner to fight alongside, a soulmate, a truer friend than many.

When Elijah is forced to watch the woman he loves die, Antoinette, he asks klaus "Is this revenge, force me to watch her just to show me how it feels?" Even in his compromised state Elijah knows that he didnt just kill the mother of klaus' daughter, he killed the women klaus had loved. The women who had understood him even when he was terrible. Yes. Klaus had a spark with caroline, and when they meet again that spark comes back because it was never explored. but just because caroline realized he wasn't the terrible person she thought he was doesnt mean she loved him and just because klaus wanted to love her doesnt mean he did. Hayley loved klaus but in beginning thought Elijah was what was best for her and hope because he was kind and noble. And married jackson because it was what was best for hope because she needed the wolves loyalty. But over time klaus grew up and hayley realized he had finally become the man she had always saw in him and was ready to love him. And klaus had finally realized the person he had been searching for in caroline and cami was hayley. Unfortunately they both sacrificed they're love for each other to protect hope.
Klaus didn't like Hayley at first, but when Hayley got pregnant and got the chance to get to know her, he loved her.But she hadn't seen the good side of Klaus and didn't trust him yet, that's why she went to Elijah. Klaus gave up Haley because of his brother. He was heartbroken by Haley, but he didn't hate her. Klaus loved her Always and forever until the end.
I feel that their bond was something beyond physical love. It was such a deep connection not only through their child but Hayley could always see the good in him and he had such respect for her strength and wisdom in the end. They had a deep understanding of each other and a connection and friendship that was even stronger than that of Hayley and Elijah as if their souls recognised how interconnected they had become. It was so sad to see her die, to see Klaus's anguish and how alone he felt without her and without his brother. She helped him grow and change in a way he never thought possible. To me, she is the true hero of this story.
Elijah let her die. Klaus loved her, he still does, and you can tell he gave her up because for Elijah. He gave her up so his brother could be happy, and that is why Hayley gave Klaus up because she didn’t want to hurt his feelings. Klayley was always meant to happen.
You can see the look in his eyes at 3:55, I think that's when he decided to take a step back a let Elijah and Hayley be together even if it hurt him. Also, is sad that we get to see how much he loved her after her death, especially in 5x07 and 5x08.

God if there were one person I could give a happy ending to I would give it to Klaus. He has suffered through the most and underneath all that hatred, evil,sadness there's good in him which we see more than a couple times during the show. That happy ending would do him so much good
Hayley got to experience the parts of Klaus that no other woman has. She was someone who got the little bits of Klaus that not even his "love interests" got. Klaus and Hayley should've ACTUALLY been end-game material. Though, there is also the part of me that is torn, because their platonic love is so powerful, too. But, I think at their core, Klaus and Hayley were right for each other (at the end). ALSO, totally sobbing. Because the parallel between Season 1 and Season 5 just -- I can't believe I never connected the dots. Klaus arrived to save Hayley TWICE and failed and had to watch her die, TWICE. OMG. that justlajksdfljksdlfkjsd The amount of anguish and pain Klaus must have felt realizing he failed her TWICE. I CANT.

When she was hitting him for turning her into a full time wolf he let her while he'd kill anyone else for that. He protected her. A liquored up one night stand turned into the best thing for both of them 😍😍

This made my cry. It all started when Lucien attacked Hayley. I tested up because I could see how much Klaus was struggling and how willing he was to save her. And then again when he bursted into the church when Hope was born or when he bursted into the house. I just wish Elijah hadn’t stopped him. From then on, I couldn’t stop crying.
The way he opened up about the feeling he had for hayley after her death is just love... He hasn't opened up this much for anyone not even for his siblings... He cared too much for her... His love for her is so pure and genuine that he can't feel. Not in a romantic way...

He may have said he hadn't cared for her, but he knows he cares so much for her, if she dies, he'll go through heaven and hell, just to get her back. But he can't, and that's what makes the pain even worse.

I loved that they weren’t together romantically. I think it created something even more special. They were soulmates, and had a love for each other that was unmatched. He got his memories taken away and also he couldn’t have even remembered bc he loves her, bc he also has his memories behind his red door in his subconscious and he was too scared to remember even when Marcel and Vincent tried to get them back. Elijah loves Hayley and always will. When he thought she died when Hope was born he lost his hope and happiness. And when he got his memories back u could tell that he loved her and hated himself. He even hated himself that he knew her from France and still didn’t save her. But he was mad at his family and saw her and hesitated but he didn’t save her still, he also didn’t pay attention much bc all he knew was that he was mad at his family and only loved Antoinette. When Elijah is forced to watch the woman he loves die, Antoinette, he asks klaus "Is this revenge, force me to watch her just to show me how it feels?" Even in his compromised state Elijah knows that he didnt just kill the mother of klaus' daughter, he killed the women klaus had loved. The women who had understood him even when he was terrible. Yes. Klaus had a spark with caroline, and when they meet again that spark comes back because it was never explored. but just because caroline realized he wasn't the terrible person she thought he was doesnt mean she loved him and just because klaus wanted to love her doesnt mean he did. Hayley loved klaus but in beginning thought Elijah was what was best for her and hope because he was kind and noble. And married jackson because it was what was best for hope because she needed the wolves loyalty. But over time klaus grew up and hayley realized he had finally become the man she had always saw in him and was ready to love him. And klaus had finally realized the person he had been searching for in caroline and cami was hayley. Unfortunately they both sacrificed they're love for each other to protect hope.

I feel that their bond was something beyond physical love. It was such a deep connection not only through their child but Hayley could always see the good in him and he had such respect for her strength and wisdom in the end. They had a deep understanding of each other and a connection and friendship that was even stronger than that of Hayley and Elijah as if their souls recognised how interconnected they had become. It was so sad to see her die, to see Klaus's anguish and how alone he felt without her and without his brother. She helped him grow and change in a way he never thought possible. To me, she is the true hero of this story.

Elijah let her die. Klaus loved her, he still does, and you can tell he gave her up because for Elijah. He gave her up so his brother could be happy, and that is why Hayley gave Klaus up because she didn’t want to hurt his feelings. Klayley was always meant to happen.
You can see the look in his eyes at 3:55, I think that's when he decided to take a step back a let Elijah and Hayley be together even if it hurt him. Also, is sad that we get to see how much he loved her after her death, especially in 5x07 and 5x08.

God if there were one person I could give a happy ending to I would give it to Klaus. He has suffered through the most and underneath all that hatred, evil,sadness there's good in him which we see more than a couple times during the show. That happy ending would do him so much good
Hayley got to experience the parts of Klaus that no other woman has. She was someone who got the little bits of Klaus that not even his "love interests" got. Klaus and Hayley should've ACTUALLY been end-game material. Though, there is also the part of me that is torn, because their platonic love is so powerful, too. But, I think at their core, Klaus and Hayley were right for each other (at the end).
ALSO, totally sobbing. Because the parallel between Season 1 and Season 5 just -- I can't believe I never connected the dots. Klaus arrived to save Hayley TWICE and failed and had to watch her die, TWICE. OMG. that justlajksdfljksdlfkjsd The amount of anguish and pain Klaus must have felt realizing he failed her TWICE. This made my cry. It all started when Lucien attacked Hayley. I tested up because I could see how much Klaus was struggling and how willing he was to save her. And then again when he bursted into the church when Hope was born or when he bursted into the house. I just wish Elijah hadn’t stopped him. From then on, I couldn’t stop crying.

Elijah never would’ve accepted Hayley as a monster, but she never wanted to hide that part!!! Klayley is endgame in the end!!! In death, yes… she realises in her last seconds who is her real man, he realises he still had a chance with her… it was his weakness after all… the memories about her..! He learned to deny this love for the sake of his brother…!

He may have said he hadn't cared for her, but he knows he cares so much for her, if she dies, he'll go through heaven and hell, just to get her back. But he can't, and that's what makes the pain even worse.

But I'm not gonna lie, I truly hate watching the scenes from the last season! They're so freaking bittersweet; I feel so helpless knowing Hayley is dead, but we also got to see Klaus share so many feelings and then HE died!!! WTF Julie Plec??? I'll never forgive her :( But then again, if one died... they all had to go. Also, the background music couldn't have been more perfect!!

I loved that they weren’t together romantically. I think it created something even more special. They were soulmates, and had a love for each other that was unmatched.
