We are starting with an easier test route due to the time of day my lesson is at and the fact it is my first mock. Still have 9 lessons before my actual test date! 🤞
Fantastic that’s lots of time to put anything right and get a few more mocks Under your belt! They’re really good. When you get out on the real test you’ll feel like you’ve done it before and hopefully be less nervous 😊

Did he need to signal at the roundabout as it was laned? As you filter to the middle lane would right indicator not make people think your trying to indicate to get to the lane on the right?
My instructor here in Plymouth told me I don't have to signal for laned roundabouts. Spotted that in this video too, would it not be misleading to other drivers to signal?
@@zachbourbon1034 I always signal right if I'm going right but then as my lane filters to the middle I cancel my right signal so road users don't think I'm trying to get into the right lane then I signal left as I come off at my exit my instructor says that is fine :/
Good replies on this one guys!! On a roundabout you’re signaling for the exit you’re taking not the direction you’re going. If you’re turning right but not on the inside you should still be signaling right!
I don't know if it's just me,but when the camera that shows both sides of the road turns on, I unintentionally lean my neck forward,as if I need to see the road better 😂😂 I guess it's just a habit now 😂😂
Great point! The only thing people need to be aware of is if they're driving so slow that other drivers may become frustrated and do things that are more dangerous to progress their own journey. On the 40mph stretch where Ronzo was doing 30 he want really doing this as there was traffic ahead so that was fine 😊
i have a question…when you are coming out of a junction going on to main traffic and you are turning right, you stop at the give way line and no car is letting you go, do you slowly edge out or do you stay put until they fully stop?…..And even if they stop, do you have to make sure traffic on the right has also stopped before moving into the road or do you slowly continue to creep out?? i hope you understand my question lol
Hey thanks for the question it makes sense 👍 You only stop at the give way line if theres someone to give way to. Then if you're turning right you should be confident enough to edge out half way as long as you don't block anyone off coming from your right. This is important so you need to be sure theres enough of a gap on the right for you to go before someone gets to you. If a car on the right stops to let you go then you'd be holding up traffic if you didn't go half way so absolutely go in that situation. Hope that makes sense!!
25:33 Most Corsa drivers don't drive like grannies. They tend to overtake and exceed speed limits. The VXR will just encourage him to do the same. 😂 He's a good driver and the faults he got are nothing he can't properly get down before his real test (which I'm assuming has already passed by the time the video is posted), so I wish him the best. If he can sort out his blind spot checks and signals, he'll have the pink card easily.
Hey, if there are three lanes on a roundabout (not spiral) and you are in the right lane but want to take the exit but there are cars stopping you changing lane in the left and middle lanes, what do you do? Do you go the way round again do u slow down and let them pass so u can get in the middle lane to exit or do you take a different exit? I'm really unsure about this, pls help (great vid btw!!)
Great reply by Weece. There’s so many variables when driving just think of the safest option. But In this case you’d slow to let the cars on the left pass and move behind them

Oh my gosh, did you drive over there? Generally consensus from you guys across the pond is that your tests are a little bit easier! But we ALWAYS say this, if you weren't ready your instructor would tell you. We want our students to pass as much as you do. Good night's sleep, good breakfast before and take your time. And more importantly YOU CAN DRIVE!!! Make sure you let us know how you get on!
You are too lenient in this video. A real life examiner would have given him 3 major faults at the start. One where he had stopped when it wasn’t necessary to, therefore, slowed down vehicles behind. Second one where he didn’t check his blond spot moving off-MASSIVE major fault, and third where he harshly stopped again. I have failed my exam and I had both of those faults, they aren’t minor at all. He also didn’t check the mirrors first before signalling upon exiting on a roundabout-which you didn’t give him a minor fault, but it would 100% be a minor on a test, or even a major. Many other fails were also overlooked. Not realistic at all
failed my test coz my examiner told me to go straight at a t junction. was def her fault. (real story is a bit more complicated but obvs i’m gonna blame the examiner)
Welllll actually... You are allowed to listen to music in your test. Not to say you can have capital extra blasting but if you have a 'happy' playlist on very low and it isn't distracting or affecting your ability to hear instruction then it's fine, and might even help alm your nerves!!

I think a lot of drivers who know how to drive feel driving slower will help the examiner to feel more comfortable and at ease with their driving

You can use any aids and features on your car except self parking! Keep the handbrake automatic it’s great for hill starts! 😊

I passed my test!!! Guess what? I passed with no minors :) absolutely no faults. It was raining cats and dogs today but I did it! Wooohoooo

Ive never seen an examiner too bothered about that as long as you check them! We know the technically correct way is mirrors then signal though
