As soon as this game dropped, the steam charts for Gollum dropped from 10 player peak to 1 player, I think it's safe to say Skull Island stole 90% of Gollum's playerbase.

This is honestly sad. The ps2 Kong game was one of my favorites as a kid. I played it over and over it was a pretty great game. You ran around with a spear and guns as a human and also beat ass as Kong. Kong even had finishers where he'd rip their jaws off and shit it was awesome. I was excited when I heard there was a new Kong game coming out, but I wouldn'⁹t even play this on my phone
Running from that T-Rex was one of the coolest, most intense moments I've experienced in gaming. That first mission with the crucifixation type thing going on too, man that game was incredible.
As a huge monster movie fan, we are so fucking starved when it comes to video games. I just wish someone would take these awesome larger than life characters and make an actually good game out of them, just once.

Thing is I have some pretty good mobile games and they are free. Like epic7 where they have cool animations instead of stupid 3D like raid has smh. Raid is so low poly but ppl treat it like it’s 4K
I can’t believe this is on ps5. I know Charlie’s playing this on pc but gran turismo on ps1 is a better looking game and it way more sound mechanically. Embarrassing that this passes for next gen. Or current gen I guess.
