Hey thanks for posting this vid... was quite intrigued after watching it but somewhat disappointed after scouring through your channel to find no other related vids on your path as a female engineer in such a male dominated field. My feedback, even though unsolicited, would be to make more vids around that area particularly. That way you can target a specific audience(young female) which I think would be a great thing and also there is a huge need for channels like this. Currently the channel it’s bit too random. Anyways congrats on being an engineer
Sherwain Williamson wow I really appreciate your comment! My channel is not focused on any ONE thing. 🤷🏾♀️ it’s all about my life, things I find intriguing enough to share, things I have done that work for me! But... I will share more on my experiences as a chemical engineer I honestly wasn’t even gonna make this video because I was like who is gonna wanna hear about dis! But since you say that I’ll definitely make more videos on being a chemical engineer! ☺️😬😬😬 Thanks for your support and please do subscribe! 😩❤️
@@kiaashlii6268 for the first year wow...Was it hard to find a Job as in if the industry is oversaturated with chemical engineers and Can you go to the US and work
@@serayebennett9114 yes it can be hard to get a job as a chemical engineer after leaving university because most persons prefer to hire someone who has experience but I would advice get proper training in how to do an interview effectively. And also, in order to get a job in the USA you need a work permit and in order to get a work permit you need to secure a job first. So yes one of the greatest challenges is securing a job as a chemical engineer.
@@kiaashlii6268 Lol just left Utech with my bachelors in electrical and computer engineering and this company I been working for a month want take up 40,000 per month give me .....I'm so leaving
@@najaeporter3028 when you leave university try to gain experience! It's absolutely the most valuable asset for an engineer. Use each opportunity as a stepping stone to a bigger opportunity. My advice would be get the experience while actively seeking other opportunities, don't extend loyalty to companies but give your best and keep upgrading yourself.
I got absolutely nothing from this video? What was this video suppose to tell the audience? I was looking to hear how much engineers make and you shed zero light.

What's the average salary for a chemical Engineer in Jamaica?
It’s different based on the kinda work you can get and the kind of company you work with. But it can range from $200,00-300,000 starter pay per month.
