I love how you organized this one - super easy to follow along with all the examples, and the "bigger picture" time scale is something that I don't think any other youtube video has touched on yet. Some projects take years to implement!

Such an informative video! I've been planning on going into chemical engineering but was never really sure if I'd actually enjoy what they do because I was never really sure _what_ they did... thanks to this video, I have a much better idea of what chemical engineering looks like and whether or not I'd like it.

I'm currently a sophomore in high school and I'll be graduating next year as a junior. I'm hoping to major in chemical engineering in college and I appreciate how informative this video was. Chemical engineering sounds like a solid path for me and I brace myself for the hard work to come in college.

Its definitely hard in workload and it can be intense conceptually. depending on the industry, u wont use everything u learn in college except u need to have a good understanding of transport phenomenon, PFDs, P&IDs, cost analysis, and excel. This major is predominantly all about pipes and reactors at the end of the day😅

I'm at my final year and i will graduate after 2 month so according to ur experienced what u think doing job is better after degree Or doing master is better after degree?
If we talk about job then which one is better like production or process or RND?

Congrats for one more awesome video about the beauty of Chemical Engineering. It's a quite comprehensive explanation of the Process Engineer role and provides a great overview of the position. Well done!
I have worked many years in Production and Process positions and Process Engineering is where my heart belongs. I also see similarities as Sherlock Homes... hahaha!! Besides the long term approach, I missed essential aspects that really differentiate the Process Engineer from the Production/Operations Engineer such as optimization and process simulation. The ability to perform process simulations is key for any skilled Process Engineer, I often used commercial simulators - I would say at least every week.

    • @EggsEngineering

Please help me. I'm planning on studying Chemical Engineering, but to be honest I don't like chemistry; I mean, I think it's pretty interesting but I don't love it. I do love math and physics and the idea of working with something that has to do with industrial process (designing things like phones is not my shit). That's why after searching I decided to study ChemicalE. What should I do?

    • @Samuri5hit84

Have you considered industrial engineering? From what I understand they cover a lot of areas; mechanical, electrical, software, and most likely some chemical engineering, but not full on chemistry.
