Well, that's a great ranking video. If The Logging Locos appears more in the CGI series like Brenner era, their characters would become better with development and focus on traits like Bash's timid and peaceful side, Dash's outgoing and supportive side and Ferdinand's gentle giant side while having him speak more than just his catchphrase and while consistent with quirks toned down and could sometimes help out at the Timber Mill near Henry's Forest. If Norman is given more focus on his character in episodes he would be better and great.
@@SodorFan15 I think Bash, Dash, and Ferdinand's personalities should be like Red, Chuck, and Bomb's from The Angry Birds Movie. Like Red, Bash would be grumpy, sarcastic, and temperamental, but he wants everyone to understand him. Like Chuck, Dash would be quick, impatient, talks fast, and a little dishonest, but he can be very friendly. And like Bomb, Ferdinand would still be a gentle giant, but he's not very bright.

No, some characters did have a purpose to return, or expand on they're personality's. But some of them only reappeared as a nod to fans, and some went against they're classic personas. Look at Donald and Douglas episodes, which both mimic Twin Trouble, or any of the episodes with Oliver.
@@SodorFan15 It doesn't matter because we were happy they've returned in CGI after so long even if it things didn't go good. That's perfect purpose enough. I believe all returnees have a purpose to return for the fans to see them again as well as expanding on their personalities which were enough to save the show alongside references to old episodes if it stick to the Brenner era style and never changed it to BWBA. @@SodorFan15 If only other aspects of their characters were shown in CGI even after Season 21 like their individuality, Dilly, belief in the supernatural and homage to their roots.

I know they do, I've seen some in real life. But fire trucks take priority, and engines hauling heavy and fast trains can't just pull over and let Flynn pass.
If we’re gonna call this the Nitrogen era now, why don’t we also start calling the Brenner era the Arc era given that Brenner era is just as valid as Miller era.
I'm not bashing your opinion or anything, nor am I a fan of AEG, but, I think the reason why Winston was changed from his original personality in AEG is because of how the Fat Controller is portrayed, and the fact the vehicles can drive themselves in this show.
I prefer nitrogen animation over arc because at least nitrogen make it more realistic I'm not saying that arc animation is bad in most areas arc that better than nitrogen but I prefer nitrogen animation in my opinion
Yep. They're the same class of engine. Maybe the Fat Controller was trialing Billy from another railway before deciding to purchase Charlie. Oh no. Did Hit actually adapt Wilbert the forest engine but worse?!
Genuinely I hate Flynn so much and I also don't get how Charlie and the Logging Locos are worse than him I always thought of Charlie as the kind of person you weren't supposed to root for, evident by the fact that he's usually the one instigating the conflict in his episodes and also bullying people, and the Logging Locos are actually kinda funny sometimes, particularly in MIR where they're there to constantly laugh at Thomas' stupid "I make good decisions" spiel Flynn meanwhile is a firefighter who is also a wimp and cannot fight fires to save his life, which sucks because I found him to be a pretty likeable side character in DOTD Every time in his episodes seasons 15 -17 the plot is about him not being able to fight fires because he's either too stupid or some insecurity about the most miniscule thing on the planet, and then when he's failed to do so he goes on a big monologue when the fire is 20 cm away from him about how "waaah waaah waaah, I'm no good as a firefighter, Im not a really useful engine, Belle's better than me!!!! :(:(:(" and all I can think about in these monologue scenes is that there is a FIRE, again 20 cm away from him, and he does fuckall to stop it until after his monologue Then in season 19 onwards he ceases to be a character and just becomes "the resident fire truck" and loses his cool voice I get that the Miller era is generally stupid with how its formula goes, but Flynn actively makes it so that the show at this point cannot treat fires with any sort of seriousness - Thomas is burning alive in Fiery Flynn and it's barely treated like an inconvenience, not even Thomas cares TLDR, Flynn is infuriating and when he's not infuriating he's barely a character
At least he's now better and not stupid any more in the Brenner era thanks to Andrew Brenner who has experience writing for Fireman Sam and took what he learned about firefighting from it to Flynn from Season 17 onwards.
Brenner wrote "Too Many Fire Engines", the story where he decides to stop fighting fires after 2 times where Belle got there first and he's like "waaah waah waah belles better than me maybe i should give up" yeah no mb but i don't think he improved flynn
@@brightredmogul1912 What about his other Brenner era appearances? He's not idiotic like in the Miller era anymore. That's proof. Also, that was during when the Brenner era started with getting the hang of things and it gets better overtime with him and improvement.
