      I'm 95% better than when I hadn't done it.

      @@TV-zl1etdamn I hope it last at least a year. I wouldn’t know how to act with a 95 percent reduction in pain. Heck I’ll work another year easily with that. Thanks!!!

      @@TV-zl1etone more question. Were you able to go to work the next day?

      @mantirig4139 toy ate able to return to work the next day with minimal pain but I took that week off to rest at home. I just didn't want to put any stress on myself. I did mine early last year so it's a little over a year now

    After the GAE, how long will the pain stay away? What about the diminished cartilage?

    Does this halt the progression of osteoarthritis?

    • @MrJpj2010
      @MrJpj2010 3 года назад +2

      I had this procedure done in November 2019 by Dr. Bagla (he's in other GAE videos on YT). I had 4 knee scopes over 15 years before that for torn meniscus and OA. By the time I had the GAE, my synovium was so inflamed that I could barely bend my knee and had 8/10 pain 24 hours. I am now nearly pain free, can run 3 miles without pain/swelling, and work out 4x per week. It's not perfect, but it's the best it's been in nearly two decades. Haven't had imaging to know if the OA has halted, but my knee function tells me it has at least been slowed down.

      @@spezia8066 is this effective for joint degeneration?

    • @spezia8066
      @spezia8066 3 года назад

      @@Zuzikasim I had the jab just 10 days ago, so I'm still waiting to see the effects. So far, it has relieved the pain which I suffered at each step. Now some pain manifests after about 1,500 steps, so it is a big improvement for around the house, up and down stairs etc. The receptionist mistakenly told me it cost $50 per session when it should have been $500 per session. So that puts the whole process into doubt for me.

      It is a common injection of steroid and other meds given by just about any orthopedic knee specialist. Cost? I can't say, my insurance covered it.

      @@whitewolf6730 I'm not sure, my insurance picked up the tab. I don't think it's expensive, those are pretty cheap drugs. BTW, the injection was pretty much painless.
