I think I'll get one. I've had the GTR3 Pro since it came out and it's great. But Now the GPS seems to take a long time to initiate or just doesn't start at all. But I generally run the same path most days and the non-GPS-tracked runs still estimate basically the same distance and pace. So it's accurate for training but not for mapping.
Hopefully the GTR 4 will give a few good years too.

Yes, it definitely a good choice for people looking for a smartwatch with accurate running tracking.
Bought the Trex 2, wasn’t impressed so I returned it and got the Garmin 965. Definitely a better option. That being said I’m wearing the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or the 6 Classic. Garmin and all the other fitness “smartwatches” just aren’t there yet. They are good with the fitness stuff but when it comes to smart features they are actually pretty dumb….
While no brand can match Apple and Samsung in terms of smart features, Garmin is far ahead when it comes to fitness features and accuracy.
