I think I'll get one. I've had the GTR3 Pro since it came out and it's great. But Now the GPS seems to take a long time to initiate or just doesn't start at all. But I generally run the same path most days and the non-GPS-tracked runs still estimate basically the same distance and pace. So it's accurate for training but not for mapping. Hopefully the GTR 4 will give a few good years too.
Hello. Is it possible to set the length of the pool in individual meters? I don't mean 15,20,25. If so, what is the minimum length? Thank you.

Hi, yes CMF Watch Pro 2 does connect to Strava but the data it syncs is limited to distance, time and pace. No it doesn't have interval training feature.
Can u suggest this watch for someone who wants it for daily wear and daily running, walking (just for the routine) not that hardcore runner? Is this good enough?
Yes, the CMF Watch Pro 2 is a good choice for that purpose

You shouldn't use it in any salt water. It can damage the APS(Atmospheric Pressure Sensor) below the side button, as well as it may put strains on strap or band body
Well (179 + 119) / 2 equals 149 avg. heartrate
It doesn't work that way. A runner's heart rate varies throughout the run, with different heart rate zones at different stages. Those two values you're seeing only represent the lowest heart rate( at the start of the run) and the peak heart rate at one point, not the full picture.

I am afraid there's none at this point. You can get the Garmin I am using under 29k INR with bank offers.

Hey! I understand what you're saying. It might sound like I'm suggesting that a 5k watch is inferior to a 30k one, but that's not the case. I use Garmin as a benchmark because I need something reliable to check the accuracy. The CMF Watch doesn't provide average and lapwise heart rate data, which is crucial for runners. If it did offer those metrics, I could better consider the price point and any inaccuracies. For instance, I would have still recommended it to people on a budget inspite of its inconsistency in GPS and a bit of inaccuracy.

Not comparison. Garmin and Pulse are used for mapping and standardization. Quite common into running. I think insanerunners just want to say that don't buy it if you are into running. It's in the name.
Why there's not even a single smartwatch around 5k that has some decent features and good enough tracking. I dont demand all those wear os features but still, theres not a single brand thats good in this segment.

@@pradeepdjain I agree, if you're looking for smart features, you can't find many better options at the 5K price point. However, for running, it's simply not good enough at the moment. It doesn't even show basic heart rate data. I am sure it does record the data, so a software update might fix it in the future.

just a correction, you can control music in iPhone with cmf pro 2.
Yes, you can control music from your iPhone but there's a bug that sometimes prevents it from working consistently.

I haven't tried the Amazfit Bip 5 but I definitely don't recommend CMF Watch Pro 2 for running.

Bought the Trex 2, wasn’t impressed so I returned it and got the Garmin 965. Definitely a better option. That being said I’m wearing the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or the 6 Classic. Garmin and all the other fitness “smartwatches” just aren’t there yet. They are good with the fitness stuff but when it comes to smart features they are actually pretty dumb….
While no brand can match Apple and Samsung in terms of smart features, Garmin is far ahead when it comes to fitness features and accuracy.
