Hey, thanks for the awesome review, bro! I've been scouring for this info for my Fit 3.
Could you confirm if it's safe to wear the watch during 40-minute regular swimming pool sessions, provided it's not in waters deeper than 5 meters?
I'm quite concerned about its durability in chlorine water and want to ensure it won't get damaged from prolonged exposure.

Thank You! I have used it for swimming for sessions lasting more than an hour and have had no issues. To take care of the watch you can rinse it with tap water once you're done with swimming.

I used it in an apartment pool probably with relatively higher chlorine levels. It started behaving crazy with auto touches. Had to take it to a service center. They said it required a software update and suggested only to swim in clear water. Not sure how that is possible.

Do you think it is safe to use at the beach? I havent tried yet and just bought it so i dont want to kill it so soon.

You shouldn't use it in any salt water. It can damage the APS(Atmospheric Pressure Sensor) below the side button, as well as it may put strains on strap or band body
