  • I asked myself, if I wanted a crispy fried chicken sandwich that tastes great, but is done in the least amount of time possible, with ingredients I always have in the fridge or pantry, and with simple cleanup, how would I do it?

    Hey Ethan you should really do a video about frying oil, like the amount of oil you actually need to fry different things, how many times you can reuse fried oil and the change in flavour reused oil gives! Anyways great video!

    • @TAPORZZ1
      @TAPORZZ1 3 года назад +2

      Isn't reusing frying oil dangerous? 🤔

    • @nyalan8385
      @nyalan8385 2 года назад +4

      @@TAPORZZ1 kinda late, but no not really. If you strain out foodstuff in your oil you can re-use your oil quite a bit, and you should only replace it once it starts to taste off. The reason fast food restaurants replace their oil frequently is because they literally fry hundreds of things a day, the averagr person on the other hand will only fry one thing a day at most on average. If you're worried about germs, you don't really need to, oil is very uncondusive for germs to grow in, and in fact may people throughout history have preserved food for months by simply just submerging it in oil, it actively prevents the growth of bacteria

    Hi Ethan, thank you for this video. I have been trying new methods of cooking and deep frying has always been one I wanted to try, but shied away from due to the mess. Following this method I’ve got no mess or bad smells in the kitchen. Nice and quick....... oh and tasted good as well.

    Made this for lunch today on a toasted brioche bun with thinly sliced yellow onion and pickles, topped with the same sauce you made. Sooooo good! Great way to use up boneless skinless chicken thighs. Love your videos Ethan 😁
