    All the advice he gives is applicable to any golfer, not trying to complicate basic fundamentals. And he shows the imperfections of his swing, but over all you can’t argue with his consistency…I like this channel.

    Hey Jimmy, thanks for repeating the fundamentals of a consistent golf swing over and over again - keep it up! You can never say or demonstrate these basics too many times for us recreational golfers who just want to play consistently and have fun. You continue to be a breath of fresh golf air on RUclips, thanks buddy 😃

    Cool story for us JT fans...
    Took my 12 year old grandson to the range yesterday. He has ZERO golfing experience as he has never hit a ball. Well, he was using one of my 52° wedges which was way to big for him but before long, I had him hitting the ball straight, and getting the ball up in the air. Today, we borrowed a Jr set for him and he was having mixed results, but he had a some really good shots through it all. Jimmy has a method that literally anyone can adapt and use. Beat yt golf channel on the planet. There are some really good ones out there, but this one transformed my game in 2 rounds.
    Hit em straight... might be a month or two before I can get back home to my clubs and play again.
    Best to all!!

    Update: I committed to using this chilled, smooth, relaxed way of playing a month or two back and it's having a significant, positive impact. Yesterday, we won a pairs KO 4&3 and I have to say, there was a noticeable mindset advantage. By focusing on this relaxed, steady tempo, when the pressure was on it stopped me getting over- excited....and we could visibly see the competitors starting to push too hard and they blew it. Yes, it helps with the swing mechanics; but I'm seeing distinct mental advantages to this style too. Still looking for the babes in the hot-tub, however.😂

  • @brotherderek
    @brotherderek Месяц назад

    Jimmy, I dig your style and golf advice. Having said that, I believe a "baby draw" is superior to a fade. I think if you moved your left thumb a "tad" to the right, then you would see it. More distance and just as easy to hit. Why do you love the fade so much? BTW....Football was the cool thing to do :)lol

    Tempo. Most courses us amateurs play are about 6700 or less. There's no need in trying to kill the ball. Learn a 1-2-3 tempo give yourself time to get into position. Only time I think you should smack the heck out of the ball is if a par 4 is within reach of your driver distance. I'm talking average good shot distance. Not a swing out of my shoes never carried 285 but I will this time swing.
