All the advice he gives is applicable to any golfer, not trying to complicate basic fundamentals. And he shows the imperfections of his swing, but over all you can’t argue with his consistency…I like this channel.
Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Your instructions are so simple and easy to understand. No techniques too complicated. You've brought fun back into my game. It works for this 77 year old man.
Jimmy, I should be paying you for the best lessons.Started watching you two weeks ago. Almost shot my age by one stroke. I’m 73 . I’ve never got that close ever.! Thanks. Watch hundreds of videos on you tube, but your advice was the best. Thanks again.
But what about the back 9??
😄🍷👍
Love to hear this! Thanks for watching
Hey Jimmy, thanks for repeating the fundamentals of a consistent golf swing over and over again - keep it up! You can never say or demonstrate these basics too many times for us recreational golfers who just want to play consistently and have fun. You continue to be a breath of fresh golf air on RUclips, thanks buddy 😃
"Play consistently and have fun" well said that is spot on👍
Jimmy,I was swinging the V yesterday on all chips.Fantastic results.Thanks a lot!
Its a great method! Thanks for watching. www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Cool story for us JT fans...
Took my 12 year old grandson to the range yesterday. He has ZERO golfing experience as he has never hit a ball. Well, he was using one of my 52° wedges which was way to big for him but before long, I had him hitting the ball straight, and getting the ball up in the air. Today, we borrowed a Jr set for him and he was having mixed results, but he had a some really good shots through it all. Jimmy has a method that literally anyone can adapt and use. Beat yt golf channel on the planet. There are some really good ones out there, but this one transformed my game in 2 rounds.
Hit em straight... might be a month or two before I can get back home to my clubs and play again.
Best to all!!
Love to hear it!! Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Another excellent, helpful video. Thanks for bringing us along on your golfing journey. You’ve helped so many of us to be smarter, better golfers who are enjoying the game much more. Much appreciated.

Great content and insights! ✊🏾
Thx Again Jimmy.
Thank you Jimmy…. I will play to the right this week!
Another great one Jimmy!!
Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Great video as usual! I've never heard keeping the ball in the back of the stance for a long iron, I'll have to try that. Tks. I'm trying to come up with a nickname for you and its either "Hollywood" or "The Mentalist" because of the way you approach the game.
let me know what you decide lol thanks for watching
Hi Jimmy, thank you for your inspiring and entertaining instructions. I now have even more fun playing golf. Kind regards from the Netherlands.
Love to hear it. Thanks for watching. www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Jimmy I have tried the gravity swing, easy swing, hammer swing and many others- finally you have shown the way for better golf! I am passing your swing to my buds. This swing will take anyone to the land of Milk and Honey. Soon we will all be celebrating in the proverbial hot tub of life.
Cheers my man, may you always hit them straight or to the right,
Golf is Poetry in Motion. ⛳️
I love to hear this. Smooth it out dad. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
I tried your back swing tip to go back til my elbow pointed down, and I must say, it’s the most consistent swing I had that day in a long time. Will keep using that. You just say stuff that makes sense. Good stuff.
Jimmy I try Never to miss you videos....I just love your presentation method and the way you take the time to walk us through exactly what your thinking about on each Shot..No BS just Plain common sense is so refreshing and So simple.. If I ever get to the US from the Uk I would love to meet you and shake you by the hand and Have a Cold One With You.
Maybe one day! Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Exactly what i do. Left to right. I know where it is going. Been playing the same way for 50 years.
Makes the game so easy. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Jimmy, I found your channel a few months ago, up here in Canada, I just played my 3rd round of the season, not awesome but I broke 90, even my golf mates commented on how much better I was playing. Never hit a shot more than 220 yards but played on the grass, putting needs work. Thanks for the great instruction.
Thats the way to do it!! Love to hear it. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
What a great video, I will try it next time out, your the best the way you explain it. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent Bill. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
You are absolutely right Jimmy. Your opening statement hit me on the face as it is very true, it is all about how we control our bodies. I will keep this in mind next time i am on the range. Thanks
Update: I committed to using this chilled, smooth, relaxed way of playing a month or two back and it's having a significant, positive impact. Yesterday, we won a pairs KO 4&3 and I have to say, there was a noticeable mindset advantage. By focusing on this relaxed, steady tempo, when the pressure was on it stopped me getting over- excited....and we could visibly see the competitors starting to push too hard and they blew it. Yes, it helps with the swing mechanics; but I'm seeing distinct mental advantages to this style too. Still looking for the babes in the hot-tub, however.😂
Jimmy, I dig your style and golf advice. Having said that, I believe a "baby draw" is superior to a fade. I think if you moved your left thumb a "tad" to the right, then you would see it. More distance and just as easy to hit. Why do you love the fade so much? BTW....Football was the cool thing to do :)lol
Thanks!
Thank you!!
Jimmy, your shoes are rocking it! Very nice.
Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Great work, slowing down and relaxing works! 24 handicap and I shot 4 over in a 9 hole Twilight league match two days ago under pressure. Went to range yesterday and really started to groove a "swing" because I could feel my body. Love your stuff! Let me know if you're ever planning a trip up to Monterey area...got a few nice courses here
Good Stuff!!
Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
I prefer the Right side, too.
Always! Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Love the analogy of the hot tub lmao ima remember that for life
Jimmy, how do you apply this theory (ball position) to Driver, 3 wood off the tee and fairway woods off the deck? Thanks, keep the videos coming they are awesome for us high handicappers!
Hi Jimmy, great video. However everytime I put the ball back in my stance I hook or draw the ball. Even using your weaker grip I still hit draws everytime from this position. Do I need to open the face more? Or swing more upright?
Jimmy, When you play the ball back in your stance, what are you looking at on the downswing? The ball, or a few inches in front of it?
Lookin good Cowboy Cappuccino! 🤠☕️
Do you set up the same way with driver.
Jimmy I'm taking you with me to the golf course today
Hey Jimmy why don't you tee off from the left side of the tees if you hit to the right side would that put the ball in a better position love your videos
Hi Jimmy, with your techniques I am putting for par a lot more. Will this
technique work with hybrids also? At times I pull my hybrids left.
Thanks for your time. Ron Pagliaro
It works with every thing! Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Love your channel. Just curious, why aren't you teeing up on the left side of the tee box? Your draw swing would take the left completely out of play. As a leftie who plays a strong fade, I tee up on the left side and it makes it easier. Thanks.
I dont want the ball going left at all. Start on the right and keep it that way. Thanks for watching.
I agree about removing the left side. I still aim to the right but I tee up on the left side. Visually the fairway looks much larger. Thanks for the quick reply!
Jimmy did great on first 9. Then the back 9 had so much water holes I totally lost it. Can you help with the Hazzard of water.
Do hit your driver any different to keep it going right?
Jimmy weight on your left foot???. For the setup?
Jimmy, question on your grip, are you interlocking your pinkies or is this more of a baseball grip?
Interlock grip is how I play. Thanks for watching. www.tropicanagolfshop.com
I share this information with some of the people I play with I think they're on the left, un willing to listen 😂
You’re a funny guy, Jimmy

Jimmy i cant find those vintage golf slacks you wear. Can you give me a hint? Very cool. Thanks!
Oh man. Thrift stores and ebay. Im making my own tropicana trouser soon. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Cool I'll be on the look out. You gotta a great Schtick going keep it up. Videos are great.
Jimmy, You should invest in a shot tracer. Why? I'll tell you why. It's easier to follow your shot on camera.
To keep it right with driver what's the ball position, middle of stance?
He has a really good vid on ball position. My misses were hooks, watched that video he did and haven't hooked a shot since. Been 5 or 6, maybe 7 rounds. Landing on par 3's too. Anyways, he explains it all, and I highly recommend giving it a look.
Middle / Front.
Thanks,will do.
I say that at least three times a round; “I’m trying to think but nuttins happn’n”

Thanks for the great straightforward no, BS tips Jimmy.
With a Ben Hogan foundation.
Hitting the course tomorrow, can’t wait.
Thank you Jimmy, for all you teach.
Now could you aim 8 yards left of pin and show us how you can pull out your putter more often.😅
How do you manage that the course is so open?
I film on days when the course is closed. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
There needs to be Tropicana hot tub shirts.
Why not!! Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Why are you saying "lift the club up"? What happened to "swing the club back"?
Never lift the club. Use your body to take it back.
Debunking “The Golfing Machine”.
cut! Take 2! 😅
Only cuts are on my shots! Thanks for watching. www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Why is hitting to the right better than hitting to the left. Is it a statistic thing? Amateurs and or righties, who hit to the left more often than the right on their misses, miss more shots in a round? Trying for the right will increase your chances of a better score?
you can talk to a fade but a hook won't listen. thanks for watching. -jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Tempo. Most courses us amateurs play are about 6700 or less. There's no need in trying to kill the ball. Learn a 1-2-3 tempo give yourself time to get into position. Only time I think you should smack the heck out of the ball is if a par 4 is within reach of your driver distance. I'm talking average good shot distance. Not a swing out of my shoes never carried 285 but I will this time swing.
We can’t see the ball flight after the strike, I for one would rather watch you follow thru anyway
Kinda Stack and Tilt, that swing. I like it, whatever it is.
Very close. Easy to repeat
It’s literally the same video every day.
Troll.
This one is totally different but ok. Beware of the coaches that tell you diff things in every video. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Dude, he using the same book every day; but he has many chapters 💯. I started following maybe a month ago, and if not for a few medical setbacks, I’ve been further along than I currently am. Keep up the great content Jimmy, much appreciated 👏🏿👍🏿
@@TropicanaEntertainment same philosophy, different videos. Keep them up man and don't change, they're helping my game and I love your attitude. The last thing I want (and I guess many of your subscribers) is different ideas week in week out. My brain is already full of shit and I don't need anything else in there
golf is about repetition => I find it very helpful to walk through basic steps many times. I want a solid routine.
