Not really, the 320 FCG is removable from the frame and the military version doesn't have drop safety issues. They cost about $600 while the 226 is twice as much.

By the time you spend money to upgrade a Glock trigger and maybe the op rod/spring assembly since it's plastic, and depending what Gen Glock you buy, save your money and buy something better right out of the box. Sig Sauer is an excellent piston right out of the box.
You guys had a lot of potential... I wonder why, with "today's standards," the USN Seal and boat teams still demand this as their sidearm? I would like to see a top 10 handguns full size best price and performance wise
My 226 has 18 round mags and hasn't failed once yet at 8k rounds but different strokes for different folks
Better than the “new” polymer/stryker guns impo. I think the 226 is going down in history and will stay around like 1911s have stayed around.
Whats the better options ?
What would be an alternative, double single action, that's as reliable and bomb proof? Legitimately asking for something comparable for the same cost or less.
I might have looked at a Sig maybe once or twice. I don't think I would buy one mainly because I'm left-handed and the control setup is definitely not Lefty friendly, and they've always been a bit out of my budget
I prefer the bulkiness feels more like your holding a hand cannon
That's a bold statement
Finally a channel thats honest
Honest, sure. Lot of really dumb takes? Also sure.
