A wood workers tip: For drawing lines around edges, at your timestamp 26:28, try placing your pencil in the middle of different width washers, of the width you like, and you will get lines which are equal distanced uniformly, from the opening. The insert you have, can become the edge you press the outside of the washer's edge, as you go around the opening...keeping your pencil line consistent...and faster then free-hand drawing.

We are In Australia, there is not as much customising here as you guys do over there, I love these videos as it tells us products that are available on Amazon etc and we would not know about them otherwise, products that make the job easier. My husband and I just bought an RV (2005, needs.. work). I can't honestly say I've ever been much of a car enthusiast, but I'm always intrigued to watch and learn how others craft/construct things from scratch. If I can do something myself then most of the time I will, and after watching your videos I'm feeling a lot more confident in giving customizing the dashboard a shot. Your videos are very thorough, informative, and your craftsmanship is high-caliber! Thank you for the work you've posted on your channel. 🙏 Here's hoping the mister and I can nerd out and collaborate on some concept sketches soon, and I can construct a spaceship-themed dashboard/cockpit (perhaps LED lights, backlit button labels, touchscreen, HUD- we'll see). Keep up the good work!

I'm trying real hard to keep it fully positive, because the dash looks amazing. I do have two big suggestions, though. One, you should definitely fully remove the old foam and covering for the longevity, to avoid delamination. Two, I would recommend spandex over fleece for a number of reasons. It's thinner, it's got a smoother texture, and will save you work sanding, as well as preventing delamination.
