I only ran into this problem because we purchased a new laptop from a few years ago. It seems as though w/ all of the newer behaviors for sleep, standby, & battery saving features, that now the users need to needlessly worry about their new batteries draining too fast, or why is doesn't seem to be charging, etc. That was never a problem before. That’s why we have a computer, so that we don’t need to worry about these inconveniences. The apps should be smart & let the user know what's going on. It looks like the designers have created more problems than they solved. This is just ridiculous. I rather have the old style battery back, or write better, more intuitive & more informative code.

I know my laptop is done for, but Im hoping for a solution, My laptop drains and charge too fast :( , It's the first time it happens on my laptop, just started today but, My battery only last 5-10 minutes from 100% to zero then it will shutdown , When Plugged the battery, It will fully charged in just 5 minutes, unplug it, will last only for 10 minutes to zero%, Charge it again, will be fully charged in 5 minutes then REPEATS, (Does anyone knows a solution to this? Without buying new battery? Im financially unstable rn... I know that keeping it plugged every time I use will just worsen the problem since I use this laptop for gaming) :( PLS

Hi there, thank you for your question! If you tried all the steps mentioned in the video and nothing has helped its most likely an issue with the battery itself so I would consider getting a replacement battery and hopefully that solves your issue.

Hi there, thank you for your question! It is most likely an issue with the battery itself if you have had it for a few years batteries slowly lose their maximum capacity and this leads to shorter battery life.

When I turn my Lenovo off and unplug it for the night the battery has drained by the morning. Any answer? The battery is fully charged when turning off.

Hi there, thank you for your question! It seems like that would be an issue with the battery itself have you had the laptop for a long time? I would recommend taking it to a professional to see if its just a battery issue and hopefully you can replace the battery.

Hi there, thank you for your question! If your computer is draining your laptop it is most likely because a graphic intensive game which will cause your computer to use more power so I would recommend trying to close background apps when playing and try lowering the settings and putting your laptop on power saving mod when playing to reduce battery drain but potentially affect gaming performance.
