    I used to do keto for years and kept my weight at around 160 for a 5’10” man. I fell off the wagon and ballooned back up to 230. Been looking at carnivore, but thought I might get burned out. YOUR recipes have changed my mind and I’m ready to get healthy again. Thank you! Awesome channel!

    Started Keto in March on my 48th Birthday. I'm 6'1" and was 320+lbs. I weighed 207lbs yesterday morning. Judging by muscle mass loss, I have about 12-17lbs left. I started increasing my protein about 2 weeks ago. Discipline and motivation! 💪🏴‍☠️

      I dont know how you lost so much weight. I've been 100% carnivore for 5 months & have only lost 22#. Trying to find out what I'm doing wrong.

    • @ChrisCookingNashville
      @ChrisCookingNashville  7 месяцев назад

      Well the first thing to realize is you’ve lost 22 lbs and everyone loses at different rates for many different reasons. Patience is the biggest factor in being successful at this. The other thing I’d suggest is watching this video by Dr. Berry to see if you might have some reason it is slower than you expect.

    This casserole method is totally mind blowing! Just when I thought you were done topping it, then you added yet another layer of goodness on top. All the unexpected items added all through the inside too! So many layers of flavor! 😋 While watching the video my brain went to chicken or ground chicken & turkey or ground turkey pot pie made with your gravy instead of the cheese sauce & a little poultry seasoning & celery salt & onion powder (for those that use spices) in the topping to taste more like like stuffing. My brain almost overloaded. There's so many combinations that this casserole method could do! Carnivore to keto... Breakfast casseroles, as well as lunch and dinner. And it makes a lot for a family or batch cooking. Total comfort food too! Wow! ❤ I'm feeling so inspired. 🤗 Thank you!

    This (and future variations!) are perfect for cutting into single serving portions for the freezer to take for school or work lunches! I cook for just me now. Pre-ketovore (and wanna-be carnivore), I used to make batches of chili or vegetable beef soup for the freezer, then pull out the container to let finish defrosting in my knapsack or desk. While others went out to spend time and money for lunch, I ate much cheaper, quicker and better. Now I can do it even healthier with your recipes too! With your help and inspiration I AM moving closer to carnivore every day! Thank you SO much! 🥳

    Chris, I think that your mind works in a different way than most people. You have this analytical almost scientific approach to combining flavors, texture and technique that make the most utterly delicious food (carnivore or not) that I've ever had. Your butter Mayo technique alone is enough to put you on par with the best of the best. I think you're a genius. I don't know if you're a degreed food scientist, a chef, self taught or what your background is, but you are a very unique special individual and we are so so lucky to have you.

    As i type this i got this dish cooking in the oven and cant wait to try it. For other keto friendly casseroles ive been making a homemade cream of chicken soup. But im gonna start trying your cheese sauce for those instead. I think it will go really good with the cheesy chicken casserole. Plus its easier to make.

    HUGE HIT!! Made this for dinner tonight! I reduced the recipe a bit for our family. And because what I had on hand that needed to be used I substituted sour cream with plain full fat Greek yogurt (I know not exactly strict carnivore) but it’s what I had and I was a bit curious if it would still,work and it did!! Family LOVED it! hubs said it was definitely a repeatable dish! Even suggested taking it to church potluck! I am thinking the topping would be great over a sausage cheese and egg casserole!

    You’re the best. Some 40 yrs ago to large hosting I used to make a Mexican casserole, layered with corn tortillas, meat, beans, sour cream n egg custard over, then top rest of meat, more cheese, crushed spicy corn nachos chips. The best meal every one loved but since I’m keto I’ve been tweaking it to a carnivore …well you beat me to it! 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏Can’t wait to replicate your creation! 😅thank you. Love that smile as you relate at the beginning cooking for a crowd!
