This is probably the best bang for the buck you can do to these tucks. Another trick when doing this conversion is adding a relay to turn the low beams on with the high beams. Having all four lights on when driving on country roads is nice.
Cibie used to make a replacement for the sealed beams that took an H4 bulb. I have the round version in a 1980 RX7 and the lights and pattern are much better than any LED that I have seen.
I have the '88 with single headlights and I'm agreeing that is the best design for the OBS simple and very asthetic for any truck and actually looks like a truck to boot ! The work truck can be stripped and rebuilt as deluxe as a person desires !!!!!!😊
IT THERE ANY PLACE, THAT COULD SELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NNED FOR THIS, INCLUDING THE WIRES YOU NEED TO CONVERT THE OLD LIGHTD TO WORK WITH THE NEW SYSTEM? THANKS
should have been labeled as a 94/95 and up upgrade. Thats a grille from a 94 to 98. 88 to 93 has a different lower grille lip that bolts to the upper grille. The bumper also has a shorter bracket for the 88 to 93 which will keep you from putting that grille in place. Also its not a "Sport" grille, its just one of the 94 to 98 variations.
I know its form over function, but sealed beam headlights are superior to the original aero lights. Very nice video format showing all the work but in fast forward.
Please do not toss the "old" stuff out. There are OBS owners out there that want to do the opposite of what you have done and that be their "upgrade". Really !
It would be nice if you put links to parts. Good video though, glad to see this is possible.

Great idea
I must be the only one who likes the work truck front more. I would upgrade the lights to LED units then refresh the grill.
Nope! You and me both pal!
I liked mine but the sad fact that the corner caught on a sonic stall broke the grill so I'm switching entirely

I like the bigger headlights. Works well
The new setup with all those different sections of light looks way to much!!
You guys should of showed how to wire it up
They and adapter on ebay
Should have*
@@TeLaComes713do you know that the adapter is called
Finally the video I’ve been looking for 😂 ready for those lights to go
To install the 194 adapter the black goes with the brown and the brown goes to the blue wire from your turn signal connector
Nice work! Amazing what a difference that makes and the parts are crazy cheap in comparison outcome you get. Keep the videos coming 👌

How did ya wire it you didn't show the colors
Im happy this is some what easy to do just got a old stepside 2wd with the work truck front end
In the process of doing this to my 2000 k3500
So the 94-98 grill fits on an 89 Silverado without any modifications? Already have the sealed headlights
I love the w/t front end better. I guess it’s because it’s so different. Everyone and their mother has the other style
Watching this In reverse so I can get the wt front end
LOL! I feel the same way.
I would have painted the core support while everything was out.

Hello. Nice jobs it looks good. Is there a link where I could purchase these same light

Are you crazy ? Sealed beams suck compared to new led light output and power drain on the vehicles charging system 😂
@@gapingtonbobuah9299
When did I mention LED lighting?
I compared sealed beam to the original aero lights.
Can you not read?
How did you guys did the wire connection
Awesome 👌 👏 👍🏿 😍
Does mr taillights provide installation for the wiring hardness for the headlights?
Pretty simple man looks much better
What was the cost of these video parts?
Trying
To do the same conversion
Can you explain how the wiring was down I recently bought this conversion kit
Now that's good looking
Could you tell me if the corner turn signals are working? Cause those are non existent on the work truck grille
Damn I can't even get my wife to wash her car let alone help me work on my truck... I need a new wife!
I'm LOL ! Because it's so true 😂🤣🤣!
Does the mr.tail light kit come with the lights already?
You the god thank you 🙏🏾
I did it just like that only thing I didn’t do is wiring the lights
If they just had a cool headlight for the original grill that would be a way better look!
Is the work truck grill just a standard 7" headlight? There are a lot of neat LED ones.
What tools did you yse?
Where did you get that grille I cant find it
How much was its I just got a truck gmc
Here's a link to grill we used from Classic Industries. www.classicindustries.com/product/1996/chevrolet/truck/parts/t70056.html
