Why do they keep mentioning Timmins? There are players making a lot more than Timmins and aren't as valuable. Kampf and Lilegren should be the ones to go.

I know one thing, if the Leafs manage to offload Lijegran... he'll most probably shine for his new team.

And score a goal against the Leafs.

Let's hope so for him. But most of the players like Engvall and Sandin and Kerfoot haven't really performed that great since leaving. Hyman and Kadri were collasal Dubas errors.

Not sure when this was recorded, but Utah might be out of the question. They picked up Maatta, a lefty, possibly to replace Valimaki. Are they still interested in another dman?

Waiving Lily, should no non-Leafs NHL team claim him off waivers, will save the Leafs US$1.15 million in cap space but an NHL team that wants him in a trade will have to agree to assume at least US$1.5 million per season of his remaining cap hit, saving the leaves at least US$35,000 of cap space.

Edmonton is aggressively looking for a d-man after losing Ceci, Desharnais and Broberg over the summer
