In this video, I have explained how to calculate your O level equivalence, A level equivalence as per IBCC guidelines to convert O/A level grades into Pakistani marks.
Furthermore, I have explained the role that O level grades play in your A LEVEL equivalence which is a controversial yet unknown fact!

If you take Addmaths in Olevel so it will also go in 10 percent of olevels equivalency

Ignore the extra subject
So sir you simply means that the 9th subject has no value in the equivalency being generated,hence these 8 subjects are most important right?By the way thank u so much for precious help
Yes, for now this is the rule, but it may change in future, better to keep an eye on Ibcc equivalence criteria

It is recognized in pakistan dummy. I studied 5 subjects abroad and then contacted dmc as a foreign admissoon applyer and every thing went well
For International candidates, pst, Islamiat and Urdu are NOT required, equivalency can be made using the 5 subjects

I have given 4 subjects bio, chem, physics and urdu in a levels. How will my equivalence be calculated? Can i use urdu bio and chemistry for equivalence and leave physics as i want to apply for bba in nust which says "any subject combination" for bba
Well you'll need to look up those requirements on IBCC'e website

@@maryamsiddiqui5122 you'll need to consult someone in your field or some counsellor having information regarding your field, I think having science equivalency is acceptable as well, but better confirm it from someone
Sir can I increase my chances of getting into a decent govt medical college like DOW, JSMU or KMDC if my test scores make up for my O level grades? I got one A*, two As, three Bs and two Cs while in A level I got one A and two A*.
Also I wanted to ask if IBCC deduction or cap still applies on foreign boards or has it been removed? I saw in certain sites that the grade limit/deduction was removed last year in September. Is it true?

@@cuteandsweetbilo1354 O level mein Urdu ke do variants hote hai. Aik hota hai first language wala aur hota hai second language wala. Second language wala easy hoti hai aur mein ne wohi diya tha.

O level equivalency has to be made separately,
The. A level equivalence will be made after you are done with A2, in calculating A level equivalence, O level equivalence is used, so you definitely would need to make your O level equivalence before that.

U will need to be reattempted, but it's better to confirm from IBCC directly

The admission cycle starts around June, application fee is around PKR 6000

No, u need at least 8 O level subjects and 3 subjects of your field as per requirement of university/program

No, cuz equivalence is based only on 3 subjects, as mentioned in IBCC website and in this video
So is there any benefit of giving more than 3 subjects (math, psychology,...etc) for medical and even for other fields who want to do undergraduate in Pakistan?
@@rafayansari7772 There is no such benefit for having extra subjects and applying to Med school in Pakistan.
The only benefit is that you shall have extra options in terms of the fields that you want to pursue.

Aoa sir, I completed my Olevels in 2020. What marks will I get for an A*. The IBCC website has A* Equivalent Marks of O-Levels for Examination Session 2021 and 2022 only. What about 2020. Please let me know ASAP
the policy was implemented in 2021 so the A* before that would be considered 90.
Salam. Sir I have 6A*s and 2 As in Olevels and sadly 3Es in Alevels. Will I be able to apply in Unis requiring" Minimum 60% aggregate marks each in SSC and HSSC OR equivalent exams (as per IBCC equivalence)" as this makes my hssc equivalency to be 76%, however if I only look into my alevels marks i get 45 percent.

Formula still applies but numerical have changed.A, B, C and D are still fixed at 85%, 75%, 65%, 55% but A* has changed. It is no longer 90%. For some subjects it's 93%, for some 94%and for some 95%. It's on the IBCC website

Hi there, Sir I was desired to study BS computer science, So, after Metric, and inter by BISE Lahore with combination of MATH, STAT, and COMPUTER, Now I'm a regular student of BS computer Science and just 4 semesters are left to get it complete.
