Its time for more power gains so after the stage 1 remap on the Audi TT the next step was an induction kit, i chose the RamAir oversized Induction kit and let Hannah (my girlfriend) install it.
Throttle response is feeling better as for power gains I'm not to sure but theres a lot more noise and whooshing coming from underneath the bonnet.

do you have a splitter on your engine ( which vents partially to atmosphere ) instead of a stock diverter valve which recircs 100 % ?
Jw did u do an install video on ur front grill as want to know how you done yours?
Do I need to take bumper off?
Also mounting brackets tht go from a part of the grill to headlight can u buy brackets to fit aftermarket grill?
Down pipe and intercooler and stage 2 tune is all you need!

I have a 420i 2 litre petrol turbo, my induction kit is stock and my car drinks fuel, will a mst induction kit increase my mpg if I continue to drive the same style?

Thats great, you can send Hannah over any time to help me chain my oil. PS, get a cold air feed cos theres sod all cold air getting to that filter - hot air = less dense oxygen, less power. Tears before bedtime.

Hi matt, did you have anything other supporting your induction kit ? Iv just fitted the same one and I’m not getting the whoosh or turbo flutter , I’m suspecting a boost leak before I installed this just wondered if you had anything else on here like a blow off valve
Hey mate I had a similar problem I got the whoosh sound but no flutter, wondering if you’ve figured it out?
@@aidanlongstaff757 I read somewhere that the flutter is because the diverter valve is broken. You should get a smooth sound rather than a flutter.

Nah just the induction kit will cause it to make the noise, although a remap will help

Sorry the filter will be sucking in hot air from the engine bay, that wont help performance.

Yeah this the same one. It's the heatsheild that mounts to the battery holder but you can make it fit by modifying it if you want it

i have the same issue with heat shield... for now its inside hood with some "cable zip tie" but.... ffs Ramair fkd that up very badly.... it just not fit at all.. WTF and I cant refund it -.-
I also shorten the last rubber pipe because filter hits on metal parts of the engine bay -.-

Yes, but you'll need a different kit made for the 3.2. I'm still debating whether or not to put one on mine.

is that the standard BOV or did you change that too?
meocats sounds like the turbo is stalling tbh which indicates part of the DV has been plugged or he’s got a splitter DV as these cars are built to recirculate the excess rather than dump it. That sound is neither of them.

Yo Matt! See that oil cap filler neck? That will eventually snap off and cause rough idling issues! Remove it as soon as possible!
Ahh sick yeah I've just seen a thread on how to remove it. I guess it just twists off and I can refit the oil cap to sit flush?

First, I do like the vids, but The Ram air induction Kit, in fact, any induction does NOT give more power. All it does is give a nice sound. But more so technicians have spent years making your car perform to it's best, so taking off their air filter and fitting an aftermarket one just messes with the ECU, which is set up for taking in a certain amount of air, your letting in more air, therefore confusing it. So if your gonna post vids my friend at least give us the correct info. but thanks for the link for the manual.otherwise peace out

When you're tuning your car after stage 1 so stage 2 and above, the stock air intake system becomes a bottleneck. The engine needs more air to make more power. Stock cars loose some power when they are not running a stock air intake.

I would not want to be one of your neighbours with all that racket going on, how selfish. And by the way, sucking in hot air from an already hot engine bay is not good. If you were going to do this then you should have got the kit that sucks the air in from the scuttle tray / Outside, much better for the engine and way better performance.
Now the air filter is going to suck in hot air from the engine and you are actually going to lose horsepower rather than gain it. You loose the engine cover and you spent money on a poorly designed engine modification. Poor choice chap sorry to say.
INSTEAD OF COLD AIR GOING DIRECTLY INTO AIR FILTER YOUR NOW SUCKING IN HOT AIR FROM INSIDE ENGINE. THOSE AIR FILTERS ARE GARBAGE NOT GOOD FOR YOUR CAR
You only get heat soak if the engine is stationary. If the car is traveling then cool air surrounds the filter
