If you don’t know the history please don’t mock. When king Marthandavarma was ruling the Travancore kingdom he given his wealth and his country to God Padmanabha and ruled the country on behalf of the god that has been following until Indian independence and Kerala state formed by joining Travancore, kochi and Malabar. That is the reason Padmanabha swami temple is the richest temple in the world.

Dear you are so kind towards us, we are a bunch of hard working middle class people, but we are open minded, but we don't do so much mannerizm which may offend foriegners , especially on road , queue or talking, which might feel like selfishness but it is very normal here, we share and talk everything to everyone, which might make you feel strange, but that is what we are. we talk initimately with any strangers and become friends so easily that is how we survive in India, don't take it as strange, just be like us here and you can turn back to normal back from your country, thanks.

That flower tree is cannon ball tree.. In India its called nagalinga flower tree.. It's funny how a non native tree brought by Europeans to India from South America, became sacred to Hindu and Buddhist.. just shows how Sanatan Vedic religions takes everything and makes its own..

it's not that common people in India are not sweet or friendly other times but in big cities people are always busy. because of the huge traffic people are spending big time going from one place to another. festivals give them time to relax and be at their friendliest. people who have time to give to foreign tourists in big cities are generally touts or scammers.
but in villages it is completely different. unmatched hospitality in the villages but unfortunately not many foreigners go there.
