I am glad this game is getting some love and commercialisation since many started to leave after Sora's announcement in ultimate but even then something felt off after that.
Damn, as a Sonic main in this game, there was so much Dew was doing wrong. I have played and tryharded in this game for 6 years though so I just see that shit lol. I'll just list one thing, but Sonic benefits from almost always moving, even with space in neutral. I don't know where camping by crouching was optimal, and Sora was just getting free approaches from that. Instead, Dew should have utilized monility options like Up-B, D-Air, dash dancing, and RC dashing (especially through platforms) in order to keep space and come up with an unreactable and explosive approach that can turn into a kill. Sonic has the fastest RC dash in the game (makes sense), so it becomes really nice when he can go basically 3x his already fast run speed for a little while. There's more but I'll leave it at that before I write a book. This game is just as fun as Ultimate and Melee imo (games I also play)!
out of all things to take away i don't know why you decided to recommend more up bs and dairs when that is not something you should be throwing out against any character

up b and dair are telegraphed options that sora can punish easily as well
the crouching u see are hard pivot dtilts which sonic uses a lot in neutral to try and catch people running in to get an uair
