I just keep coming back to the idea of like… you meet a vampire, he sucks your blood, another vampire then launches you into a wall at Mach Get-Fucked, knocking you unconscious, and then later on you find out that while you lay there bleeding, these two incredible immortal beings had just the pettiest domestic in which you are referred to exclusively as The Boy. Just let me die at that point tbh
"My brotha', he tossed hisself off a roof! My sista', she buried me alive! My daughter was my sister, and my throw pillow. When he wouldn't look at me kindly. Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat, Lestat!"
"Suffocation by the world's softest... beigest... pillow." Ouch! Louis (Jacob) really made that one hurt! The writing in this show / and the ad-libbing in this show are off the charts. Great edit!
Lowkey, as a single person with no dating experience, I want to act this out with my spouse to calm down before actually talking about our problems to diffuse the tension. I love this scene so much.
@ I’m saying!! I don’t know what it is, but his accent scratches something on my brain lol. The first time I noticed was when he was like Louis always talked about Lestat and so he goes on to repeat it “Lestat, Lestat, Lestat..” I was like yoaw, put that on the soundtrack😂
When Louis points at Armand and says "I know! I know! Yes, I know! Thank you for saying that " he reminds me so much of Paul on the balcony giving his angry, imaginary sermon back in the pilot
i always thought he looked uncannily like Paul in this scene, down to his mannerisms body posture and the desperation in the way he said his words The characteristics of a man at the end of rope. you can *see* the moment after that final mention of claudia where he just loses all direction and decides to end it
this scene was very….intriguing. relateable…in a sense. it hurt me. i was going thru some bullshit with someone intimate & it went something similar like this…the raw emotions, the arguing. i was stuck. i was in a trance with this scene. the back & forth was too real lol
well Armand did that so why would Louis not mention it. Kinda savage on Armand's part. But it was funny when he called Armand 'the softest beigest pillow'
Im sorry ....but how he says "When you....." 1:20 .. it's funny...I have had my fair share of passionate arguments....and I would not want to hear recordings of MY arguments lol...I bet I would sound ridiculous!
Just finished The Vampire Lestat and watched this scene so many times, only now realised the reference to the book when Louis mentions the chopping hands off.
Yea....Armand did that. Not sure which book its in was in at this point, that mentions the weird Frankenstein experiment he did to Claudia.... That was crazy....certainly not in the show
I think it might be “whichever way your nose bends” by Simon Rackham it is on Spotify, but not 100% sure I’m right about this! Hopefully it’s helpful. 😊
idk if they say it but i get the feeling that Daniel finds Armand very attractive even to this day thats why he would always stare at him in season 1 not just to get a read on him and why he wondered what his blood tasted like in ep 5 i think
Random thing to say 😂 Daniel never trusted Armand it has nothing to do with him finding Armand attractive 😂 he knew Armand was sus that’s why he kept having that vision. He may have forgotten what they did to him but his subconscious didn’t.
@@anotherone8320 agree but also armand was a second from leaving louis’ neck completely dry 😭😭 you can see on the next scene he is restraining himself by not letting his fangs out 💀
@@anotherone8320 not sure if he would have necessarily killed him but considering Louis’ whole speech, and the the shot at 2:12 I think they’re trying to show us him restraining himself from at least physically hurting Louis

"Picking LINT off the SOFA?" is perhaps my favorite part. Tied, perhaps, with "My daughter was my sister was my throw pillow."
😂 Love a fight with not one, not two, but THREE upholstery references 👌💯. A pillowfight, if you will.
'Picking lint off the sofa' was also funny.... Louis calling him the softest beigest pillow....lol 😂
Armand says Lestat 16 times for anyone who’s wondering
You're doing the Lord's work
You know what? I DID wonder how many times Armand said “Lestat” & I thank you for this.
😂😂😂😂😂
omg why did I just CACKLE at this 🤣🤣🤣
Wth ?! 😭💀
No one is as divorced as Loumand is.
It's like a marriage story but gay and vampires

this comment elevated the whole scene for me lmao
Immortality truly is hell 😢

Where do I apply?
The acting and the chemistry for a first scene between actors💯💯
Right!
Where did they say that it was the 1st scene between the two ... in an interview or ?
@@anotherone8320 there's an insider at the end of each episode (where I watched iwtv at least) so this was shared after the ending of the 5th episode
Yes it was in an interview. This was the first scene Assad filmed. You might try Autumn Brown. She interviewed each cast member.
Armand mimicking Louis accent😅😅

This episode was where I realized I loved Armand’s character. He was so raw and real here. I was like damn I want more of him on my screen

Babyyyyy Jacob and Assad acted their asses off in this scene. Absolutely splendid.
I loved the “I’m sorry” while Louis was laughing.
He was so high 😭😂
This has been playing repeatedly in my head since the first time I saw it
Is it pounding in your brain like a hammer?
I literally probably have watched this scene more than 50 times at this point! If there was a perfect, this nailed it by every metric!
this is my cocomelon
😂😂😂
Armand was a piece of work (and Louis) but Assad was ACTIN!!!!
Really loved Louis here haha
Jacob flawlessly performing a wheel of emotions in 4 minutes in nothing short of incredible. Just all around great acting from both of them.
Lowkey, as a single person with no dating experience, I want to act this out with my spouse to calm down before actually talking about our problems to diffuse the tension. I love this scene so much.
I’m sorry but Armand’s voice??? His accent??? Lawd Gawd. 🙌🏾 I’m down for it. Down for the countttt
I was just saying that, im so glad they let him keep his accent. It really wouldnt have been the same if he just sounded like Louis or Lestat

The "chop my hands off" reference is from the books. Armand chopped Nick's hands off but that was not mentioned in the show

Louis did deserve what armand said to him!
They both deserved it but Louis was speaking through the drugs
You could see in his face, Armand went from, "Babe, don't go there. You don't want this" to "OK, the door's open. Let's go."
Imagine living forever: paying bills for eternity.
I feel so calm watching this
Saw a comment that stated the likelihood of this incident causing Daniel's future Parkinson battle. 😩
