Loved going to Blackgang Chine as a kid. I can remember back when the old cowboy village and play fort were still there. And the gnome village in the actual chine.... many moons ago. Those bits of land all gone now...

Have a soft spot for the whale, i have a picture of myself standing in it's mouth as a 7 year old in what must have been it's original location. Very happy to see it being kept.

The original location was by Nurseryland if I remember correctly ?

Great to see Blackgang giving the whale a new lease of life in more of the centre of the park, rather than being sat at the end of a dead end path like it has done for years, can’t wait to see it finished! 🐳
