Well Isle of Wight Archive is here to bring back those memories .
These vintage films are taken from the original one off reels and scanned to digital formats by myself .
I also do sprinkle in some modern Isle of Wight film of things happening at the moment .
I always welcome your comments and memories associated with each film .

Holidayed on the iow in the 80's.
Lived there in the 90's.
Took my kids over this year & they loved it...
Despite looking a little run down, I suspect (& hope) that with all the travel restrictions, the iow will see something of a renaissance 🤞

Be good to know when the film was shot ,was trying to work it out by what people were wearing 30s mabe,
I just think that the people who visited blackgang back then had a excellent time with the paths leading to the beach and the layout of it all,
Blackgang was at its best back then shame it's not like that today, .
