This is a Command and Conquer game against two soviet players and we are tasked with defending as allies; this will show you how to defend against a soviet rush on Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. Basically, you need a lot of patience, pillboxes, and harriers! It's all about preventing the soviet player from reaching their iron curtain. If you can do that, you've got a good shot at defending against a soviet rush. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge are two of my favorite games in the C&C universe. Wonder why soviet players havent build siege choppers, top and bottom cliff is perfect spot for siege choppers.

@@zroysum There may be Iron Curtain's but soviet players should stop relying on it. Superweapons are honestly way to over centralising for sure, however, you do not need an IC to kill those two BF's And they suicided a shit ton of their tanks, that's why soviet players clearly rely on the IC too much.

How do you get your game to run in 1920x1080 ???
At 10:15 I felt like you should have chrono'd on the desolators, iirc non-vehicles just die when chronosphere hits them, the location would also be nice for the attack.
Sorted player haha yeah at that point nothing was vital anymore. But could have been a good move no doubt!

I like when the opponent fight to the very last tank and miner. Not kikematamitos style.
Got the plans right here
Harriers were a great choice too bad they were idle most of the lategame. Constant low power. No combined tank army (prism tanks work better against other tanks with some grizzlies cover). But those few mirages were good choice.
I would also combine pillboxes with more even number of prism towers constructed less on the borders of your base and more inside the base for synergy.
Maybe you could've tried teleport few mirage tanks in the enemy ore field. It's harder to repalce ore miners than structures.
I'm no progamer myself, but why those many gap generators?
7:36 if chronosphered prisms on their tanks, they're pretty much out!

Hey man, I was wondering how you are able to run your RA2 so well? Everytime I try to play off Origin, the remaster, it freezes and shuts down. Super annoying seeing as I wanna play.

To do waypoint like that the infantry must be walking somewhere while your doing this. Kinda strange game mechanics here.

This one made me a little anxious and why the hell is red sitting on FIVE war factories, doorknob.
The more War Factories (or other production buildings) you have, the faster you build the units for that building, until it caps out at a few seconds per unit no matter its cost (at 11 or so factories if memory is not failing me)

Three factories were enough for this map. But, they have oils. So, actually they have limitless resources.

What was that you tried to do with the chromosphere at 13:20?
Try to get the tanks on top to destroy both. Vehicles that land of top of building can cause serious damage

Why didn't you spam BFs?
Is it beacuse you wanted to focus on destroying their base with prism + chrono?
BFs against iron curtain rhinos is a bad time; BFs are too slow and will get picked off. Mirages are much faster and with the addition of gap generators they are much harder to target.
I dont get it, how does losing power several times become helpful?

Why were the Guardian GI's at the back of your base for so long ? and you didn't build any Rocketeers when the Desolators came out. The trade off for three harriers just for the battle lab (at the start) was confusing. You got lucky at the start, but recovered with a nice chrono prism play which ruined them. Keep it up !
They were trying to rush an iron curtain; destroying two battle labs prevents that and gives allies a massive advantage on a small map

@@BryanVahey ah ok. i wasnt sure how valuable they were to take out. i guess i was confused about taking out only the battle lab, but it made sense a few minutes later when i realized you were just trying to stop him from getting an iron curtain (i think?). hope med school and the marriage is going well :)
Holy cow, you can waypoint a Seal through an IFV like that??? :o That's almost like cheating (similar to when I learned you can waypoint order a chain of attacks through the GAP generators)

God damn, I need to make a video on how to deal with fucking battle fortresses and explain why it works because there's so many of these people that rely on the IC but don't have a fucking clue how to deal with them without the IC and that's where these players fall flat on their skill level.
Rhino Tanks and Siege Choppers or Grizzly's and Rocketeer's OR even nightHawk Transport's can work. But you need this to kill them with EZ. I understand supers were on so "I'll just rely on IC", but What if you DON'T have the IC? What then? And also don't have access to Choppers? Well, it's timing-based, you need to know when to engage. I'll be honest it's not insanely difficult and i encourage more people to play non-superweapon games cause there is a lot more to them. Sure they can be kind of campy but they will teach you unit management.

how to play defensive if the two soviet players dont rush the two allied players...
they tried to rush an IC. I killed the battle lab two (maybe 3?) times, then they gave up on the IC and tried to just push with tanks. The point of the video was to show you how to inhibit IC aggression early.
