An absolutely bizarre move by Sig to not have any marketing behind this whatsoever when this is the same company that makes 50 different versions of the same gun every month and markets the hell out of all of them.
probably because they know it's even more half asked than normal
I think they don't really plan on selling this. Or making a gen 2. Dabbling around a bit more, their effort seems to be towards a flux collab.
Clearly you don't check sig's website daily as all sig boys are required to do
marketing decisions are primarily made by dashboards these days than cocaine
Probably because they wanted to get consumer feedback without getting the same blame as they normally get for beta testing their products on customers.
There was a video sig released a while back that stated the reason they stopped making these and never advertised them was cause of the brace ruling a while back, but now that is has officially been struck down, I wonder if they'll be back on the menu full time
They won’t.
it certainly is one of the pdw chassis of all time.
😂
what's the point of this when you can just get one of those quick attach stocks and use it with a red dot pistol?

Quick note on the PSA X57, the one displayed at shot show was in fact a chassis for the rock 5.7 however according to their most recent video they stated that the final iteration of the X57 will be a non chassis firearm similar to the actual MP7 and will include a safety.
They said it was a prototype and would be an actual gun on its own
Even when they debuted the X57 they explained in some interviews that unlike the prototype it would have a proper bolt carrier group.
That's pretty hype ngl.
Why didn’t you and Hop go invade Tim’s space at Military Arms Channel so he can Sig Simp you into Sig Simpmission?
*takes preliminary look at comments* Alright, cool. First and foremost this is the MP320 Calx kit, still would need FCU, slide, recoil spring, and barrel of choice. Second, this was (WAS) only a Sig Experience Center offering with only 800 ever made with a condition being made to allow for order over the phone.
Thank you for putting facts into this comment section.

I saw the video Sig put out about this a month ago. Living in the northeast, I was tempted to drive over to Sig and try to get one, despite not even owning a P320 yet. But, largely thanks to your review, I waited and a week later managed to snag a Flux Raider during a drop. Love the brace deployment system, love the magazine speed reload system, and I love the compact size.
I had a Raider and think its the best, if pricy, pdw chassis so far.
I dumped my P320s, but the Raider was mostly enjoyable.
I always look forward to your videos on my Friday afternoons!
Coincidence this drops right after pistol braces going back to normal?
most people think that it's because they made this during the pistol ban, gave up. Shoved it into a warehouse. Now that the pistol ban is removed they're selling the 600-800 they made. And will likely make a gen 2 or a collab with flux. Not sure.
@BrassFacts a friend's wife, works putting these together. These aren't going to be the last ones made according to her. I'm just saying.
That is an FCU Exo One. Pablo designed that Patent. Guarantee that Sig is paying him royalties for using the patent. I have an Exo One, it rocks.
I noticed the similarity immediately. I couldn't stand my Exo One but it's a nifty concept.
Is that the one they where they had like 3 types of products and never got past the first one? Would the exo 2 be a fixed barrel PDW? Trying to remember the name of those guys.
@@Yapperinos yup. I just remembered the inventor’s name. His name is Omar out of Texas. He designs sniper rifle chassis. He patent the design, so he gets royalty payments when companies use it. I still shoot mine, but I like my KPOS SCOUT with G17 better.
@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz yeah it is. Inventor’s name is Omar outta Texas. He patent it, so he gets royalty payments from companies ( Sig Sauer) that use it. I like mine as well, but I find myself shooting my G17 in a Kpos Scout more often.
When I ordered mine the guy on the phone said that these were actually made a while back but then the ATF started playing with the brace rule again so they pulled them. He said they will never make them again as they “Have moved on to bigger and better things”
Sig made a copy of an X01 chassis but with an AR15 charging handle instead of a side charging handle that I can HK slap. FCU has been making this almost exact thing for the P320 for like 6 years now.
Are they still making it? What happened to the X02?
Great to see that Sig offers a feature to make a 320 less reliable. The market needed that.

its a cool design for sure like form factor wise. i’d love to see someone maybe print something like this. the Raider-365 looks like the actual best concealable pdw to me, as well as also the USW concept kinda perfected

I’m curious if, as a self-proclaimed pdw fan, you’ve heard of the Diamondback DBX57: short-stroke piston, pic-rail stock mounting, shoots 5.7x28 (obviously) using FN FiveseveN mags. Unloaded, the whole thing weighs about 3lbs
I'm not a huge fan of 5.7. So I've mostly avoided them
Diamondback makes shit guns.

I can only imagine how many fingers are going to be blown off with this platform
One minute John Leguizamo is woke the other he's shooting PDW's
I was just at the range zeroing the mp17 flux with a laser and I felt like my POI kept changing. Thanks for explaining that pdw's lack consistency for very, very small groups.
The LC charger (not PC.. LC) is super tempting as a PDW platform but as a ps90 sbr owner I don’t want to invest in a platform to fill the same role with a round that’s questionable and expensive. If they make the newer 45 LC into a charger version then we may finally have a TP9ish firearm for half the cost that shoots an inherently subsonic round. Never thought I’d say this but.. come on ruger!
I almost got a 57 Charger but instead bought a mossberg 590a1 lol

I just want a TP-9 or Mp-7 but for way less money and make it take Glockazines. If that already exists please tell me.
I don't think it does. Really weird that hole in the market hasn't been filled yet. Seems obvious.
The tp9 isn’t that expensive, I’m a mpx copperhead/apc9k guy personally
@@andrewvachon1943 The tp9 is $2400. That's very expensive compared to the rest of the market for what it is.
Recover tactical Glock chassi
Just to clarify, you did not need to be a sig elite member. Just had to call in to the SEC when it dropped. Also you can tighten the sig brace by removing the cap on the end and tightening the hex screw
I take it they've already sold through the ones they had?
My I suggest trying out the Recover Tactical 20/20 or 20/80 with a dove tail adapter for reddot for either your choice of RMR style or like me a EPS to solve that low sight picture and drill out hole for a scout mount for a light if needed it's what I've done. To me, it's still the most underrated pdw chassis. Edit: To help rack the slide, get a slide racker back plate from springer precision.
Tbh I think if you can afford/snag a raider or even a b&t usw-g17 you won't look back. But especially the raider, as there's a critical mass of support behind it that is leading to a wide roster of aftermarket parts & accessories
You didnt need to be an elite member, i googled the phone number for the SEC, called and within 5 minutes it was shipping to my door.
3:25 I flinched.
Hey AssFacts... XD, nice video again, pretty informative. But back to the MPVOs, have you tried the Leupold MARK 4HD 2,5-10x ? It looks pretty good on paper but I havent had a chance to try it in person.
That miss placed support hand @ 2:45 scares the shit out of me. Would want something to prevent blowing off my finger.

Interesting. Still dont regret my MP5K pdw project.
The FCU X01 Chassis is the best p320 system that no one talks about.
Do you have one of these? I was very interested in them when they were first released. The website is still up, but I have not heard anything at all about them media wise for at least two years now. Do you know if they are still in business, or did they just not take the website down?
Yes I have one. I bought one heavily discounted a while back. I love it. I think the FCU website still has a few versions available. I think they are only selling off their inventory.
Nova snore bark. Awesome.
I feel like the new strike industries p320 pdw chassis has a lot of potential, might be worth checking out (it’s also the only CA legal one as far as I can see other than this sig one but you can’t get them)
I'd be thrilled if they would make more of an upper than a chassis. Like a better made mechtech PDW.
5:55 damn those fingers in front of the muzzle haha gonna be gone
Now make it 10mm
Could you go into more detail on the B&T Glock chassis? It seems to be well regarded overall, but I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks for this video. While I am not interested in this PDW, your rambling thoughts are great commentary and certainly worth my time to watch. Also, I want to buy some brace facts stuff and sadly there is none to be had that I could find. 🎉 Keep making interesting and relevant videos.
Sorry I'm not him but I own a usw-g17 and a raider. The USW stock deployment is just OK, but absolutely sucks compared to the raider. The stock itself is small and leaves bruises on your shoulder. If you're handy you can make something to enlarge it. I believe the optic rail's connection to the barrel is less stable than the Raider's. Raiders have a much larger aftermarket for parts, even holsters. Way more people carry it everyday in the US including LEO's so there will always be a community. Raider has a cool second mag holder, usw doesn't.
I will say the USW is way less gassy when suppressed, but that seems to be due to how glocks are designed vs P320's. Hopefully Flux's future glock raider will solve that
Oh and forgot raiders have a safety built in, which even if it wasn't a P320 you want a safety on a gun you will be moving with.
I will commend the usw-g17 for again not being a p320, and also for having a built in charging handle which is nice.
The entire john wick series shows bullet proof suits. He actually uses it really well when he's in a fight though, protecting his face by pulling his suit out to cover his chest and face thats unprotected.
sure, I don't have a problem with the suit itself, I have a problem with everyone turning into bullet sponges to give John more issues, vs the tight short, brutish fights from JW1.
For the strobe: I attached one to a helmet by putting some velcro on the helmet (how else you gonna put those cool morale patches on your stuff?) and then just stuck some to the strobe. Boom, cheap and effective IR IFF strobe.
Technically speaking it's a PDW, and from what I can tell is a solid meh of a gun. 6/10 if I see one at a gun show in ten years I'll pick it up.
Anywho, you planning on reviewing or talking about the new Flux 365 Raider? Seems right up your alley.
All of this just tells me i was right to just stick with an MP5K aside from that great video gooner

have you tried the Recover Tactical chassis? you can keep the dot on your pistol slide so there wouldnt be any zeroing issues i think
Think I saw one or two RUclips mentions, which is about right since this thing will be pure unobtainium anyway.
You mention it in passing, but any hands on experience with the b&t usw-g? I had hope with sage dynamics review and the thing costing half to get running than a flux 365

I'm still waiting for either you or hop to try a g40 in a recover tactical brace, it gives you a small package with lots of versatility
The MPX-k also counts as a PDW I would contend
Any chance you'd examine the Strike Industries SMC BRAVO? I'm well aware of the ALPHA and its issues, thanks to you, but the Bravo has some design features that I think address some of the complaints of the 'original'

Thoughts about the Mac 11 semi auto as a pdw?
Also, a couple days ago I clicked on a random gaming channel video and did a double take when I heard your voice.
I had one and tried it. I would say the weight sucks and the mags suck as far as carrying it gos
Mac 11s are kinda pricy for what you are getting
I know that the masterpiece arms clones have some trigger components that wear out with a lower than preferred round count unless you call them and happen to get some of the good parts. They also use modified sten mags and the factory ones are a toss up if theyre decent or dogwater from what ive heard, but they do have a glock mag version. They're also harder to mount optics to unless if you get the side cocking version which ive heard mediocre at best reviews on. Theres other clones out there but thats what ive seen the most of, also one of the cheapest, assuming you're wanting a non-nfa gun or a vintage closed bolt. Most mac clones are give or take if theyre decent or not but if youre just wanting a fun gun to play around with it should be alright, if not maybe another reasonably priced pdw/pcc might be better. Ive been looking at stribogs, scorpion evos, and the like as of late for something to fill that role personally. Take my opinion with a grain of salt as i have no hands on experience with any of them, just stuff ive seen from my research on them because it peaked my interest.
Kinda has a high point looking vibe to it.

What are your thoughts on the RecoverTactical 20/20 chassis?
It might not be as capable as the other PDWs but it has the smallest footprint. This is one where you can actually carry in a backback AND not take up most of the space.
Hey man, I know it's a long video but have you checked out the video classic firearms released touring q facility? It really is an eye opener with why they do the things they do. I know it's over 3 and a half hours long, but I think it's really cool and worth the view.

The ACP, Adaptive Carbine Platform, was a bit before its time. As in, just before pistol braces were a common thing.
I mentioned it in the video. Like really early on
0:22 Just what the heck is that optic/LAM setup? How'd you do that?
Any chance for a comparison video between this, the TP9, and a Flux Raider? I'd be most interested in the Flux, as their chasis seems well designed and incorporates a non-reciprocating optic mount.
I can't unsee how the forend resembles a remington 870 Blackhawk knoxx forend
Hey my dude, I know you've done some great vids on the PA GLX 2.5-10x and the PA PLxC 1-8x. Im at a delimma between the two.
Would love some feedback or even a full review on when your magnification is so close to each other, does it make more sense to go 2.5-10x with a piggyback dot... or does it make more sense to save on weight and sacrifice the magnification and parallax adjustment?
Would love a comparison between them as a LPVO/MPVO comparison showdown. Its the last piece of my puzzle for my Mod H and I'm stuck in a lack of knowledge, and hands on time with them, to make a good decision.
I'm surprised they don't do something like this for Glock and use the hole in the handle normally used for the adjustable backstrap to secure it on more than just the rail.
Are you gonna do a video on the p365 flux raider?
when/if I get one. I wasn't able to buy one in the surge.
