Just needs some emulator development and it'll play all switch games. I hadn't purchased the paid for version of YUZU until I tried the free version on ODIN2. It doesn't offer me anything new but it did allow me to support the developer.
@@handheldgaming4life I haven't dipped into emulation myself mate especially after that stint pulled with the cash and SD card from that guy play store games cool for me bro got the display to look close to OLED also tweeking couple of display settings
Hey love the video! I had the same exact complaint about the thumbsticks. Would you mind letting me know where you got the replacement thumbstick covers? Thank you!!
The stick caps I've used are the cheapest switch ones I could find on Temu. 🤣 So really anything should fit. That said, even these cheap domed ones feel much better than the tiny recessed ones on the Odin2.
@@handheldgaming4lifeYou don't need to change anything in the settings. Just make sure screen mapping is switched off and the Odin controls should work automatically.
@@marcwilliams9824 Ah you're absolutely correct! 👍 Screen mapping appeared to have been on by default on my unit. Some games still don't work though (outside of YUZU) so I guess its up to the owners on how they set up. Personally I think I'll still use the mapping software as one of its strengths is you can adjust stick sensitivity if you use screen mapping but not if native controller support is working (least not in some apps like YUZU). Some games like COD or Genshin still require you turn on screen mapping though right? So if anyone goes down the route of turning off screen mapping for YUZU then they'll need to remember to turn it back on for a COD session.
@@handheldgaming4life I haven't tried any native Android games yet but I'll let you know if I find out anything useful. I know about COD and Genshin, any others you would recommend?
@@marcwilliams9824 Vampire Survivors doesn't care if screen mapping is on or off, but touch screen games like COD, Genshin and Honkai need the mapping enabled and setup. 👍
Never expected this before christmas. I have the white but I love the look of transparent one too... Got the Spectrum next issue 2 coming in a couple of weeks too which I backed over 3 years ago ! I've had a terrible few months these 2 gadgets will keep me distracted I hope 😌
Please help, I have installed de prod key + firmware latest versions + the driver you said... And still not working. Im using the same Ayn Odin Pro 2... What could be the problem?
I believe the version I was running in this video was the last release, checking my ODIN2 it shows as build D590cfb9d. That was the last free version on Android App store before it was pulled.
Weird, I've just rewatched the video and gone through the steps on my Odin2 and I see the menus I mention in the video. The only but I think you might have missed is adding the TURNIP drivers for video options perhaps?
@@timothyyap5945 I just fired up an incognito page and googled for roms and the top 3 hits are all apparently good from what I've seen online. I can't endorse any myself. Extracting your own rom from carts is the least "dodgy". 🤣🤣 To be honest I don't really retro emulate all that much, and when I do its generally really old stuff.
You won't download a virus if you follow my video for downloading YuZu. And its unlikely you'll have issues even if you download ROMs you didn't create yourself.
@handheldgaming4life I trust your video on Yuzu. I have the odin 2 coming should be delivered next week. I was refering to Odyssey. I'm terrified to use the wrong website and crash my computer. I don't know anything about that stuff.

Note that the controls will work natively, no need to map to the touchscreen buttons.
Where would I find this in settings? I just found the controls problematic so I used the Key Adapter app which made everything work fully.

I have had issues in the past with the prodkey being bad. Perhaps try a known good set of keys and slightly older firmware.
