I think something may have changed with dolphin as I cannot get .dds texture to work on the latest nightly build and possibly could you show your dolphin settings as I still have some strange artefacts and weird textures in SMS and yours looks great!!
Dolphin won't let me export or import my user data. Whenever I try to do either, I just get the message, "Failed to export/import user data." When I tried to import my user data after installing a texture pack, it gave me that message and deleted my current user data. I still have all of my save data, dolphin settings, and controller profiles in a file on my PC. Any ideas as to why this may be happening or how I can fix it? I can't find anything about it on Google. I'm on version 5.0-20347.
So the method in this video is the "proper" way to import textures, however there is a simpler version which I show in my PS2 texture video where you pretty much just put the zip of the texture folder on your internal storage (let's say Downloads folder), unzip the folder on your device with RAR from Google Play Store and then manually move that folder from your internal storage to the texture folder location of the emulator which is inside the android/data folder. The reason it has to be done on the device is because you need a file manager that has permission to do this since Android 13 is an ass, the Files app is already on your device should work but I use ZArchiver from Google Play Store. Here's the PS2 video for reference: ruclips.net/video/OqRQYpSgKaQ/видео.html
@@-roetaka I finally fixed it! I uninstalled all of my Dolphin files on my Odin 2, restarted the system, and then redownloaded the latest development build of Dolphin. For some reason, it let me import my user data after that

I really want to play the "Endless Ocean" games, which are Wii exclusives, but don't want to have to buy a Wii, set it up and everything -- if this can handle those games, that would be awesome!
hi can you help me? I'm not very experienced yet! so if I want to run ps2, psp etc... games do I still need an sd card to transfer the data to the emulator or is there another solution?
SD card is just storage. You have the internal storage of the Odin 2, and you can insert an SD card. You can put games on either. If you're asking is the only way of getting games on your Odin by using an SD card by setting it up on a PC or something then no you don't have to do that, you can download roms online with a browser like Chrome if you're conntected to a network. It's easier to use a PC and set up that way, most people put the majority of their games on an SD card so the handheld has internal storage for Android games and the like.
@@-roetaka I got some vita thumb caps off amazon and they're super loose on the rp2s sticks, do they fit better on the odin 2 or are they still kind of loose? I have some concave switch caps that fit a little better so I'll probably use those but I'm just wondering anyways
It's definitely lighter and more pick up and playable, there will definitely be times I will opt to play Switch games on it over the Geek. But the Geek has a 7 inch screen and it is quite comfortable to use if you don't mind the additional weight. I was thinking about it yesterday as I was playing Switch games...you can play Kirby and the Forgotten Land decently on the Odin 2 but who knows if it'll be smooth throughout, however on the Geek I can push the game from 30fps to 60fps and it plays perfectly, and plays basically every switch game perfectly if Yuzu/Ryujinx can handle it. But the Base model is less than half the price of the Geek 1S.
@@-roetaka awesome reply, I have the Odin 2 pro coming very soon but also have someone selling a 6800u geek 1 for £350 which seems to good a price to skip on. Love the content man, always a worthwhile watch.
I do, there's really no reason for the Pro unless you want more storage and maaaybe get a touch more performance on demanding Switch games which is currently not worth it and there aren't any Switch emulators actively in development for Android right now. The Max is overkill. More RAM is mostly useful for Winlator but hard to say if that's worth it.
@-roetaka i want ti buy a rp5 , but see your video , the base model look Absolute sick , and i Will use It for PS2 emulation , and maybe some switch games likes Skyrim , i should be ok with specs
@@vittoriodamato1167 The RP5 can do PS2, some Switch, Skyrim should be possible but if not it should be in Winlator. The Pro/Max is a lot more tempting now, when I think about all the texture packs and shader caching all that internal storage is gonna be a godsend.
