And of course the day before I release this video version 0.9 of Vita3K is released. 🤣 I've got an updated tweak video coming soon on the updated Vita3K plus some GPU tweaks.
I've tried most of the latest drivers. Are you talking about Mesa Turnip V24.0.0 Rev 15 from 2 days ago? That driver certainly improved graphical glitches but I'm still seeing really bad slow down in games like Ratchet & Clank sadly.
Vita3k won't find any of my zip folders, it just says no compatible content found for 1 game (even tough i have 3 games in the directory path). Can anyone please help with that, i have been struggling with emulation these past 4 days and can't find a solution with the vita3k, rpcs3, cemu, xemu, and xenia emulators but if someone can help me with the vita3k emulator that would be a good start. I am using a Lenovo Legion Go Handheld device with Windows 11 and Emudeck/emulationstation.
@@handheldgaming4life Yes that's it !! Thank you so much bro i would have never guessed that i would have to recompress the files again in order for it to work that's so weird. You just gained another subscriber 👍
@@wendellwatson8318 You need to unzip the files as usual, then you need to choose with your mouse all the files, once they have all been chosen you right click and then go to more options, 7zip, and you find the option to compress the files in zip format.
PS Vita isn’t listed as a platform in Daijisho sadly. So it would just be a widget to open Vita3k app, not a platform to see all your vita games, like most others
I'm guessing, off the top of my head, that system won't run Vitamin 1 or 2 games either, since it's still using Vita 3K, which doesn't support Vitamin Dumps? Up to now, I've managed to find less than a dozen images that were NOT ripped using Vitamin. Problem is, if they all use Vitamin, and Vitamin isn't supported on Vita3K, doesn't that make Vita emulation pointless?
Iv'e not tried it, but I doubt it would work. In fact the vast majority of games in my experience struggle to run at all, although Odin2 is the best experience so far. Some hardware... like the Retroid 4 Pro won't run anything particularly successfully for me. Drop me a line on handhelds4gamers@gmail.com
Sure, i've looked into it and tested, its pretty easy but doesn't seem to over much to the 12gb Pro model. Perhaps of value to the 8gb model though. Probably make the video as a short.
Good morning I've tried everything but it doesn't work. The game file is in 7z mode, I compress it into a Zip file but nothing helps, the Vita3k application does not recognize the game Ps: the game file does not have the ID (PCSE...) of the game as in your video but the name of the game Could anyone help me please?
hello, when i try to install (from main memory or memory card) it ask me to select a pref path using a different path requires additional permissions /sorage/emulated/android/data/org.vita3k.emulator/files/vita/ anmd then a button to change emulator path, i dont know how to continue
When I install a Zip It takes me to a file browser. From there I pick SD card (where I download my games to). I put my games to install in the download folder in SD card so I browse to that location.
Try going into settings on your ODIN2 and search for "unknown" and click on the option shown for "Special app access". Scroll down to Install unknown apps and click and make sure Chrome or whichever browser you use is set to "allowed".
Hello, I have a question and hope that you can help me. I have an Ayn Odin 2. I also think this console is very good and have already successfully got the GameCube, the Wii and the PS2 emulator to work. Unfortunately, I can't get the PSVita Vita3k emulator to work properly. That means I install the emulator but no matter which game I want to install, nothing works. The Nintendo Switch YUZU emulator also doesn't work as I would like it to. I can start players, but they either crash or run with graphic errors. I've seen in many videos that both cans can be emulated without any problems. I'm definitely doing something wrong and I would be happy if you could help me solve the problem :)
I'll start with the second emulator first. Switch is a bit hit or miss, some games just don't work properly. Like my favorite one GRID which glitches out on intro videos, but it is possible to get it mostly running in game. Some games like Mario ones have graphical glitches no mater what, there is some hacks you can apply to fix some of them but some textures are always a bit wrong. Skyline might work for some games better than YUZU but sadly they are both end of life now. Performance issues can sometimes be resolved by using Turnip drivers for the GPU but that won't always fix graphical glitches. As for Vita3k, its a long way off being ready. Some games work for a while in game but again they'll crash a lot. You can also use Turnip drivers in this emulator. Also might be worth looking into the virtual memory tweak in Android if you have the standard 8gb Odin 2. 8gb I believe is the bare minimum you'll need to run switch and you'll be running close to maxing out the memory.
can someone tell me how to get out of a psvita game? so that i can get back to the psvita menu? somehow it doesn't work for me and i have to close the emulator completely :/
@@handheldgaming4life I have wiped so much that my screen is now completely clean :D but that i get directly to the psvita menu during a game? no way :-( what exactly are you doing to make it work for you? is there a setting for this in the options?
Man i dont know what im doing wrong on my O2 but i cant get the Vita games working! :( Love to see some more on its configurations, drivers & tweaks for making the games run smoothly.
I think set piece videos won't go full screen but in game should be fine. So far I've been trying to get a decent GPU driver working with most games to share that with the group. Sadly its not proving easy.
@@handheldgaming4life I think it’s definitely an emulator to watch grow. Appreciate your videos 👊🏼 Only had the Odin 2 since Christmas but have been searching for the best emulation handheld for a while for PS2 and fitting the bill so far 👍🏻 One question regards key mapping on Odin. Have you checked the trigger with the built in button tool. Just to be sure its not registering and its not a weird in game issue? For the first point I'd consider doing a factory reset on the device. I've not had to do this on my ODIN2 but I did on my Abxylute (also android based) because I had weird issues with the onscreen keyboard not loading (crashing and failing to update from the play store).

Daijisho is just a front end. You can add apps to show in it so yeah vita3k can be loaded from Daijisho.

how's input latency with headphones on? really only interested in rhythm games for the Vita
Wired headphones would be the way to go with rhythm games I'd say. With wireless there is always a little latency.

Uncompress the 7z file so you get the PCSE folder then zip the folder (not 7z). That's what I did to get files working.
