Imagine what happened during the seven hour war, when they were first invading, how absolutely terrifying it'd be and how efficient and quick they would slaughter millions, that's what a half life movie should be about, no gordon, no gman, just the chaos that the combine had dished out, before subjugating all of humanity to a slow extinction
I personally think that if a movie was like that it should start with the end of HL1. So basically the movie starts with Gordon walking into work as a flashback, then it cuts to the death of the Nihilanth and Gman rescuing Gordon. Then Gman tells Gordon his offer and Gordon walks through the portal. It cuts to black and opens back up with a “X amount of years later” and the movie shows the 7 hour war from there. It then ends with Gordon stepping off the train in the beginning of HL2
Everything here is great from the timing to the music and choice of footage using parrygod's sfm2 animations.This stuff's pretty good for your first edit

If you think this is hard then you must not be good at anything, as is evident by looking at your videos, you keep recycling the same music because you can't even be asked to press auto beat again on a different song so the cuts are at different intervals. You're simply bad. It's pathetic, you think you have skills when in reality all you can do is slide short clips in place to the beats an ai already designated for you, less talk more show, try making a real video for once.

I use adobe after effects and it doesn't have an auto sync option as for me recycling music, I have done it twice the rest are either remixes or slowed down versions of the same respective songs meaning I would have to redo all the beats again which I did, ofcourese you would know if you had bothered to check them which would have saved you the trouble of replying to my current thread but well,beggars can't be choosers I guess.

I love the setting of Half life 2, you can feel how humanity truly is at its knees. Hell it almost feels like extinction is inevitable, Half Life 2 is truly one of the best Dystopias in gaming

In terms of chemical manipulation of the water thats a reference to Brave New World, or how theres no births anymore is a reference to Children of men and the tv screens with constant monitering is a reference to 1984. Everything else the combine does such as draining the ocean feels like something from Lovecraft (author), Valve really got the best dystopias and culminated it into hl2, extremely underrated
