I particularly appreciate the way they balance scientific detail with practical applications, ensuring that you not only understand the numbers but also grasp the broader impact on health and quality of life. Personally, I believe that combining clinical evidence with real-world stories not only makes the content easier to understand but also helps us make smarter health decisions.
Excellent video! One of your best. Is it possible to do a video about "food noise"? I find that has the biggest impact by far. It's hard to explain to people how it changes the way you think about food. Before, I constantly had a little person on my shoulder reminding me of how delicious food is. And I had to constantly tell that little person no, but as you understand, willpower is a limited resource. If the way I think about food now, is how a "normal" person thinks about food, then normal people have no place telling a person with food noise how they should be eating.
@@SALVATl0N I 100% agree! I have struggled with my weight my whole life. Put on my first diet at 8 years old. For the first time in my life, I don’t think about food as any thing but nourishment for my body. I have been on a vegan plant based diet for 5 years now. Going on this drug I have lost 50 pounds and feel healthier than I ever have.
Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences. There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese. What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications. Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks. Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods Get off the couch. Get off the iphone or ipad. Get up and go for a walk, run, bike ride , garden, work outside. Move more, sit less.
The mental health challenges following RYGB surgery is new information to me. It’s just interesting to think about considering patients probably go into the procedure with a lot of hope for results and the future. I wonder what the explanation behind it is ….
@@Jim.D wow to be out of a channel that had help thpisands because they actually share evidence to help everyone instead of just continuing the brainwashing video programming. Please leave, I'm positive nobody would miss all yoir immensely insightful and empathetic posts.
@@Jim.Dgetting bariatric surgery vs obesity mortality got the major focus in this video. RUclipsrs tend to focus on what's trending so they can get the views because it's their job. Ozempic will eventually be less of a hot topic. In the meantime there's no natural method quite like omad and intermittent fasting.
@Jim.D ive been following this page and the website for about 12 years. While they do heavily discuss more natural and dietary approacehs to health, the main reason I have stayed with them is because they offer such a broad range of information with access to actual research (that is usually independent).
