It's a fantastic recording of some fantastic playing. Those fast rolls....so clean. An absolute pleasure to the ears. And of course the smiles, from both players, just makes it better.
Anika Nellis and Roni Kaspi are her equals. They are all absolutely fantastic. And of course the great Terri Lyne Carrington paved the way for all of them.
Senri is world class and will be sought after by many established artists, but only some of then can play at her level of feel and awareness. Kiyomi also holds things together to a high level of feel and awareness, but Senri plays infinite funky details and surfs through the energy waves of the music magically.
