Mana always seemed like a little sister, not a wife. I married Yue. My only complaint about the majority of the Rune Factory series is that you can't start out as a girl. Still love this game though ♥ At least I got to play as the daughter in the second generation ^_-

The nostalgia and realization is hitting me hard right now.
People always complain about it being jpn or eng. To me both are fine. Both version sounds great. And don't be hating the eng ver . I believe there are a lot who like it. And don't expect people like the same things you like. People have rights to say what they like. Don't call them idiot for liking the eng ver. Seeing this type of comments is really boring. Meltz Tan Al games in my country alll (Maybe not all but most) are Englishand I haven't heard the JP, but in my opinion its gr8 the english but im sure the JP is also great, I agree I hate those comments also

Nostalgia. I used to play this game a lot and never got far actually. It was too hard for me lol so I just went on forums and youtube to look at the game play
1st one is really slow (I advise getting the fishing rod and fishing for money, then fighting on the side to start) and the 2nd has an amazing story, but it's REALLY long. The fighting is sped up and better, but the 3rd is fastest with the best battle system. But I advise playing them all :)

@KittyKingCool at first you can only play a boy but when you have a daughter ( 2nd generation ) you can play you daughter ( but she will always be a Child )
@Bobgoober16 On the other side I have to say the only thing I didn't like about this one is that the intro almost makes you feel like you HAVE to marry Mana. I myself married Cecilia but it almost made me guilty, I was actually kinda glad when it switched to 2nd generation.

You also have no rival with Mana. Only difference is you need to get some seafood/melon (been years since I played so that is all I remember) for her dad. Then you need to fight a big boss as well.
The reason I didn't play any of the other games was that the character wasn't as memorable as the ones in the first game and Frontier. Hopefully, the characters in 5 will be.

This opening probably focuses on the most with the main bachelorette and the protagonist the most out of all the other rune factory openings
In my opinion, it's about a tie between this and RF1's opening. I prefer this though.
