Hey Thomas, I've been growing my hair out for about 6 months or so coming from a drastic undercut and I'm trying to grow it out long indefinitely. The past few days I've been taking it more seriously and I came across your channel and it's been really helpful! So many guys online that do hair videos have thick straight hair, and mine is fairly curly and not as thick as theirs so it's nice to see someone with hair like mine doing videos coming from a similar place mine is! What I'm mainly having trouble with is figuring out what style I want and how to execute it on myself; I've even tried going to some barber shops and none of them seem to know what I'm asking when I say I want something new. I also want to know what products are best to use for what purpose and just general techniques on how to style your own hair. Basically lessons on how to have long hair lol. Keep up the great work!
I spent years growing it for about a month then chickening out and cutting it as my hair was quite curly, over and over, grow then cut. But come March 2019 when the pandemic hit my local barber shut and I wasn't working at the time. It was the perfect opportunity to grow my hair and be isolated if it didn't look right. Eventually with length my curls evened out and I wish I had grown my hair years ago. I think my hair as it is now, it's length is just above my nipples and it looks great on me. I hope I never lose it or have to cut it for any job.
Mine is like a squared rounded face shape. I can't find literally anybody with this face shape all over the internet. Thanks for it! I feel better now.

It doesn't matter whether people see me with long hair or not but when I see myself in the mirror it will always remind me that I made the best decision for myself and that I'm happy and more confident!💯

Recently for the last day of school (Sydney, Australia) I wore the top of my hair in a top knot. My sides are decently long but not long enough for a man bun and one of my friends said it would look better if the sides and back were cut short, but I still wanna keep growing out my hair. I don't know if I should tho because I don't wanna look stupid during the awkward stage at school when it resumes.

I have very fine hair and although a triangle face i dont have a super wide chin so i tend to rock a beard to give it a bit more fullness.
I have a squarish face but no chiseled cheekbones currently at my 11 month of hair growth trying to get my sides down to my collarbones so probably 1.5 more years, my hair is thick and straight

I'm finally to a happy hair place.. I've had a bad hair year, accidentally went black then spent over half the year brassy, Now I'm currently silver blonde and its finally a little past my shoulders in length and I'm just peaceful at last 😂

So just like our bodies, the more your hair grows the longer it'll take time to grow further, that's why people who do fades always have a problem with their sides growing fast, it's normal and you have to wait longer and make sure you protect your hair from the sun, wash it and take care of it.
10,000 units of biotin per day as a rule of thumb will help tremendously. There is, unfortunately, a cap to how long ones hair can grow for some people. It's like a genetic thing. Some people can have 20 foot long hair while some might get 6-8 inches. It's weird. But biotin. You won't notice a difference for 3-4 months but after that you will.
I already know that my face shape is the square and cool but…My hair line is very heart-shaped (it’s not subtle). I would love to have long hair but I’m not sure if I’m going to look funny or bizarre

I want long hair, but I’m trans ftm and also pre t so i can’t just grow facial hair like I want to, and long hair definitely won’t help me pass nor help dysphoria so that’s sad lol
@Quinn Brophy Mines up to my waist. Genetics play a major factor in hair growing as well. Make sure you cut the end of your hair, if it's unhealthy it won't grow as much as it should when it's healthy.
