8:03 my favourite question! I think one of the first steps to start normalising "girly hairstyles" is to stop separating (and naming) everything by gender, a hairstyle is a hairstyle and a bun is a bun. Love the video!
I really loved the question about the girly hairstyles because it's just such an important topic. I'm straight and currently growing my hair out and I just don't see why having long hair should make me any less masculine or really anything other than exactly if not more who I am at the core. I really appreciated hearing your perspective and wholeheartedly agree with what you said.
Thanks for swinging by Isaac! Glad you got some value from that question! 😊 I loved the question too and made an ended up making an entire video on it haha: ruclips.net/video/FEFLuCR9-UU/видео.html
I'm not gonna lie, Thomas. I put my hair up tight in a bun every night because I DESPISE sleeping with it down. I constantly lie on it, pull it, it gets in my mouth and everything. There's no places for my to put my hair except up. I hate it because my hair is so close to looking like yours, but with a million times more frizz.
Mr. Thomas!!! :D How is it you get more dashing and handsome every video?! Your luscious locks are beautiful and I absolutely LOVE guys with long hair (I like my hair short simply because I get too hot otherwise!)!!! Thank you for your great content and cheers to a healthy, happy, beautiful new week!!!!! 💖💫✨🤩
There are curl creams that can moisturize hair but even those will flatten from sleep, instead of getting the hair all wet, just wet your hands and instead of drying them, put them directly into your hair, do thise a vew times while scrunching the hair upwardtowards the roots to lift and give volume, so the hair is slightly damp and not wet...
Thank for answering my question Thomas! I definitely agree with you and can see how it just needs time combined with someone to pioneer it, might as well do it ourselves. Also I didn't mean that being straight or gay had anything to do with whether you can do it now. I just meant that I don't want the preconceived ideas about it to distract from the fact that we look good with it. I want the focus to be on how cool it is without bias. ex: your space buns are epic lol. Great video, thanks again!
When it comes to long hair, my hair is still pretty short. But I've always been into the pony tail type styles, butx2, I'm afraid that it's seen as a girly hair style. A lot like question 5, I'm a straight guy, though I've always been more into "girly" hair styles.
Thank you for sticking with the long hair movement Thomas. I wouldn't have ever considered growing out my hair if i hadn't found your videos. Plus the Facebook community is like icing on the cake, making my journey that much more fun. Eagerly waiting for the day I'll be able to post a transformation.
Really interesting the problems men specifically have with long hair that as a long haired woman I never thought about. I've had long hair all my life so sleeping with it is second nature, I just adjust it in my sleep to keep it out of the way, but if you grow your hair out in adulthood, sleeping with it must be a massive pain! I agree with laying it over the pillow above your head. I don't braid because the friction pulls it out and frizzes it up, making the braid painful to remove in the morning. But that depends on hair type, I guess.
I have grown my hair for 14 months but at the middle of the growth I have cut 2 inches but i was not that to bad but i loved the cut so I have grow my hair for 10 months
Cody Enslow's question hit me really close to home, I would love to rock a "girly" hairstyle too but where I live it's literally a gate to infinite harrasement, I yearn for the future where we start looking at people for what matters instead of "your hair this" or "your tattoos that"...
I find the hair over the pillow technique works great for my hair otherwise a loose braid or two works out well especially if you are sharing a bed with your wife, partner, etc.
So I’m at kind of an intermediate stage with my hair. It’s currently just approaching shoulder length. When I put it in a ponytail the length of the pony tail is around 3-4 inches. Would this length be a good point for me to start tying it up when I sleep? I can do a sort of tiny bun thing (I’m bad with terminology I’m new to this). Basically I flip my hair in front and pull it up to the top of my head like a pony tail except on the last turn of my hair tie I fold the hair over itself. It’s still pretty tight though at the length I’m at so I’m not sure it would be very comfortable to sleep in and I do toss and turn quite a bit. Is there anything I should do at this stage?
Hey Thomas! I want to dye my hair to black but unsure what product to use that's safe. Or convince me not too idk, my hair's shoulder length now so idk if it'll ruin my progress
Hey I just started growing out my hair out in the beginning of October. The top is long but sides are significantly shorter. Are there any recommendations to keep motivations to not cut the sides?
I'm curious, how would you recommend sleeping with roughly shoulder-length hair? I've been growing my hair out for roughly a year now, but my hair always looks like crap in the morning 😭😭
I don't think there's any way to get out of bed without bed head when your hair is long, it just goes with the territory. You have to be ready to do some care and styling when you get up.
@@thomasinaction Ok, well that still doesn't change my opinion about you, you still a great guy from my point of view, sexual orientation don't have nothin to do with the personality

Linus loved his blanket, my hair loves a silk pillow case. Much less morning hair tangle and hair breakage than a cotton/synthetic pillow case.

Hey Thomas do you still use watermans hair shampoo and conditioner?
Having thick curly hair, is it okay to shampoo and condition after every workout?
As long as it does not make it dry out. Also make sure you use a good shampoo without any nasties in it
Hey, Thomas, what do you think about hair subliminals, frequencies and other music for hair? Would be really interesting to know your thoughts on it
I had butt length hair all my life and now that I cut it to a short curly bob, it's time to watch this video xD
