I feel like at MM1 excellent players were actually dedicated to creating trash levels. So you get a level that not only is trash, but also doesn’t have an easy way out. It’s something you don’t see too much in MM2.

smm2 has all the truly difficult and garbage levels filtered out so it's much easier

It’s amazing. During the years of SMM we begged them to help us get rid of the hot garbage... and now that it’s gone we realize how wrong we were.
I actually still prefer quality levels, but I'd like them to be in the 100-man run.

@@ariap3307 if we were in an apocalypse you wouldn't be writing on your phone, in the comfort of your house, why we are in an apocalypse, thus far 2020 isn't going so bad as the memes say, it isn't half as bad as ww2, for example, thing is, for some reason, memes are getting more and more extreme by the day, "this is an apocalypse", "kids in the future will study 2020", "there won't be a 2021". dude, it is just a pandemic, some people die, economy recesses a little, it's not like we haven't had any of those things hundreds of times before, and we've certainly had worse, it is not the end of the world (literally).

the thing about smm2, if it burns more then like 3-5 lives, it just basically won't show up, and that takes away a lot of the fun stages from super expert runs, like you would never in a hundred years see a muncher speedrun like that (and ofc the bigger hitboxes don't help either)
What makes MM1 very repetitive is that is plagued with 20-50 seconds speed run of...basically the same stages and the only way to die in mm1 is enemy spam, troll level and spike spam
100 man gave playing a purpose. A goal. I don’t understand why Nintendo couldn’t add it as at least an option alongside of endless in MM2
Give them a hot minute and theyll bring it back as "DLC" alongside the costumes...they'll call it the "Legacy Bundle" and it'll be 40$ just to enjoy the game we already have...

Anonymous Person Not even close. They’ve certainly done scummy things in recent years, but no where near the level of EA. At one point someone actually calculated that it would cost upwards of $2K to buy all the micro transactions in SWBF2.

Anyway, Another incredibly fun video! Once you made it past the hump in this run, there almost wasn't any question.

I think the troll levels were better; they removed so many of the cool features in SMM2 (like overlapped pipes) that were used to create the more mind-blowy levels. I really would like to see some new SMM1 troll levels played.
