When I met my wife, she saw my potential and "whipped me into shape". She got me to start taking pride in my appearance again after coming out of an 18 hear relationship where I had basically given up. A decent haircut that was styled, and nicer clothes that fit better and better grooming of my facial hair made a big difference.

As a bald and super skinny guy, I gotta say…still feeling pretty hopeless. Gaining a significant amount of muscle doesn’t happen in months. It takes years. And I can’t do anything about my hair, or lack thereof
While I agree with the premise, the focus on "triceps, traps, and delts" is a bit misleading. First focus should be on the Lats (as most guys have neglected their back). Pullups, Lat Pulldowns, and Rows will be your friends here. Your traps will naturally develop while working on those, as will your rear delts. Second focus should be on your chest. Flat bench press, incline bench press, shoulder press, and dips. Your triceps and front delts will get worked with these as well. Then you only need to add side lateral raises to get your side delts. If you need this kind of advice, you are likely new to the gym, so trying to focus on triceps, traps, and delts, will have you making no progress and wondering why.
Triceps are important, but only as an accessory to the bicep. If you have small biceps, working on your triceps will not change your arm size much at all. If you have some decent biceps on the other hand, having good triceps will magnify that and kind of fill out your arm. The big three out front would be biceps, chest and delts, with traps and triceps good to bring it all together. Add in the lats for back and quads for legs and you're hitting a large majority of your body with minimal "targeting". A lot of the other muscles will be dragged along for the ride just by hitting these.
This may be OK advice for guys who are at least average or above in looks in the FACE, especially in facial symmetry and good teeth, but if you're considered by most women to be "disgustingly ugly" or "creepy" looking, in your face, with very disproportionate features, and/or really bad or super crooked teeth, (or no teeth at all), then there's NO amount of "working out" that can make you a "6 or 7" in overall looks... Unless maybe you're JUST considering the BODY, below the head/face, and you wanna just wear a bag over your head all the time, LOL! (NOT very practical to do that though!)

It is certainly a good advice to go to the gym. Same for fitting clothes. Luckily I am very tall with full hair. I went to the gym quite a lot during my 30's and my clothing style was ok I think. Oh and my job is quite good. ...and it all brought me no success at all with women. I'm now in my mid 40s and still single as I have always been.

What she is saying is just basic common sense. If you look unkempt usually it's not attractive unless you are a rock star or a comedien. You still may have to add other things like confidence and be interesting conversationally, or show interest in what they are saying. Looks on its own is obviously not enough, but some men need it spelled out that looking after appearance does count and it works both ways.
It's basic advice but it's still helpful. Personally I think most dudes don't get the right haircut. They usually cut it too short and get a fade, but short hair doesn't look as good as longer medium length hair. Especially cause you have multiple hair styles u can do, but short hair is just one style lol. Hair frames the face and can make a big difference. Most girls prefer medium over short hair

Hairstyle is actually so trueeeeeee. I personally have seen a glow up from a simple style change (which got my now gf to say I was hot before we started dating). I started working out, which obv helps, and I made sure to keep it chill and not be too much too fast. On top of everything else, the right girl is pivotal. I met my gf in church and even though I've made some mistakes, she is super super forgiving. Way more than I deserve, cause I said some pretty harsh stuff. If you find a girl who can truly appreciate the effort you put in and you puts in as much effort as you, you're gonna be set for life

If you are tall and can’t get a woman it’s because you literally suck as a human being. My non verbal autistic brother has 2 kids, with a fitness model. None of the men over 6 ft don’t have women. When I met my wife, she saw my potential and "whipped me into shape". She got me to start taking pride in my appearance again after coming out of an 18 hear relationship where I had basically given up. A decent haircut that was styled, and nicer clothes that fit better and better grooming of my facial hair made a big difference.

As a bald and super skinny guy, I gotta say…still feeling pretty hopeless. Gaining a significant amount of muscle doesn’t happen in months. It takes years. And I can’t do anything about my hair, or lack thereof
While I agree with the premise, the focus on "triceps, traps, and delts" is a bit misleading. First focus should be on the Lats (as most guys have neglected their back). Pullups, Lat Pulldowns, and Rows will be your friends here. Your traps will naturally develop while working on those, as will your rear delts. Second focus should be on your chest. Flat bench press, incline bench press, shoulder press, and dips. Your triceps and front delts will get worked with these as well. Then you only need to add side lateral raises to get your side delts. If you need this kind of advice, you are likely new to the gym, so trying to focus on triceps, traps, and delts, will have you making no progress and wondering why.
Triceps are important, but only as an accessory to the bicep. If you have small biceps, working on your triceps will not change your arm size much at all. If you have some decent biceps on the other hand, having good triceps will magnify that and kind of fill out your arm.
The big three out front would be biceps, chest and delts, with traps and triceps good to bring it all together. Add in the lats for back and quads for legs and you're hitting a large majority of your body with minimal "targeting". A lot of the other muscles will be dragged along for the ride just by hitting these.
Better to work on the size of your wallet .
