    The front drawers are the best. Beautiful! Don't care for the plain top color.

      It’s not easily shown in photos, but the tip is a very shiny gold, with streaks of brown underneath from the dark & decrepit.

    Though I typically do more smalls than furniture pieces, I still look so forward to every one of your technique videos, Melissa. Your experience and talent with these mediums really shines and I always learn something. Your finished pieces, large or small, are always eye candy, filled with so many techniques married to each other that take your projects to the next level. My favorite videos from you are the mixed media pieces where you include painting, decoupaging, stenciling or stamping and add transfers for a vibe that's cottage core, but also really artsy.
    Also, you definitely need to copyright "plop test" as an official technical term. 🤣

    I just love this little gem. It makes a huge statement & is absolutely stunning. I love how you’re fearless in using many different mediums in your pieces of art & always look forward to your furniture transformations. Your first time using glass bead gel makes you look like a natural. I love the boho-glam look you ended up creating. Absolutely gorgeous. 💖💙💝

      It’s funny because boho is usually really far outside of my style. The glass bead gel was soooo much fun though! I can’t wait for another project to use it on.

    I love the stencil designs, they have a Moroccan sense. Love the blues. The paper in itself is pretty but it's has a completely different feel then the stencil designs. I love the glass beads, they are tricky. I would have painted the outside of the drawer sides with one of the blues.

    Appreciated the clear tutorial on using the glass bead medium. Do you need to seal with a top coat after the beaded finish dries? Boho beautiful ❤️

    • @VintageBeeDesign
      @VintageBeeDesign  3 года назад +1

      No. I sealed it before I used the glass bead gel, and used liquid patina, which is basically a top coat, as my paint. It’s incredibly hard and protected.

    Pretty hard to say which is my favorite. So, I’ll say this 1. Inspiration paper 3. The colors! 3. Raised stencil + the layers of 2 golds. 4. JRV Stencil. 5. Glass beads!
    Did I miss anything?

      You are so funny! I love how you try to share your pain, by inflicting it on others. I’ll just let you know that my husband and I are very happy together and he loves me for exactly who I am. I’ve had several significant medical issues which have caused body changes. I actually got braces in my 20’s and have not liked my smile since then. I get told that I have a beautiful smile all the time, but remember how much better it was before the braces. About 5 years ago, I also had Bell’s Palsy, which was partially caused my the underlying medical conditions and stress. I was working too much. I’m someone who always stays busy. I’ve had to learn to slow down. Fortunately, through all of it, I’ve learned not to be so hard on myself and I literally don’t cate what other people think about me. I know, you are thinking, “then why are you responding?”
      I respond for 2 reasons. The first is selfish. RUclips loves interaction. This means when you comment and I respond, RUclips pushes my video out more, helping it to do better.
      The second reason is that I know people who respond meanly to things, always searching for a way to hurt someone else, are in fact, hurting inside themselves. They lash out because they feel small or broken inside. I’ve seen you react on other creatives’ channels and it’s really never very nice. Since you aren’t going to hurt my feelings, I let you get it out and try to answer in kinder ways to give you a safe space. I’m sorry that you are in so much pain that you feel the need to lash out. If you need to get it out, I’m happy to message with you privately.
