- Welcome to our skoolie bus conversion! We converted this school bus all on our own from start to finish in 3 1/2 months! It was exhausting, a lot of work, and we still have some details that need to be finished up, but it means we get to travel all over North America with our 7 kids!

Awesome bus tour! For anyone who has only recently watched this channel, go back to when the Boyd's were still in Canada and see them build and install everything themselves. They are very talented, and fun to watch. On this tour of Skoolie, everything was tidy, even the Berkey was shiny clean. Good that all 7 kids have the shelf over their bunk bed for storing. Even saw Bethany's bear 🧸 she had made herself and showed us in a past live stream. And camera man Toby's gaming space.

The bus has turned out beautiful, it took time but is well worth it. No adventure this week so looking forward to next Sunday x

Love the big “master” bed. I like how minimalistic yet functional your set up is. It’s lovely., still keeping my 4 bedroom 1700 square ft rambler tho. I want a giant bed like that tho.

I’ve been looking forward to the video for a while. I love it! I’m super impressed with the design. I love that the children each have ample space. I grew up with many siblings and for a while we all shared one room, I loved it. Also the bathroom door design is genius !❤
Thank you so much!! I grew up with only 2 siblings, but still, we shared a room until I was 12. When I did get my own room, I hated it at first! I moved back into my brothers room for 6 months before I was ready to be on my own!

Awesome video! Love all the creative touches like the cabinet doors doubling as bathroom doors! Definitely important to have as many uses as possible for different parts of the bus! I've been trying to talk Kenny into getting me a Vitamix! Lol maybe y'all can help me out with that! Tell him I need it! 😂 Miss you guys!!! Maybe we'll be able to come visit y'all soon! ❤

They all have their own curtain that gets hung with magnets (or just tucked in for the bottom bunks) ☺️

Where do the kids sit while you're driving?
So it’s legal with live with your kids fulltime in an rv?
How are you managing temperature control with the ceiling not being insulated? How well insulated are the floor and walls?
Insulation is not great, but I’m not sure it would have made a huge difference considering how many windows we left in… but we didn’t build this bus for cold weather… and it does pretty well in the warm weather so far… although we haven’t made it through a Louisiana summer yet…

Where do you wash your hands after using the toilet? I did not see the sink
The shower tub has a faucet to wash or the double sink in the kitchen!!

Except the "bathroom" everything is not scaled down. If you have the money would you upgrade to a double decker?
We would love a double decker!! The fuel cost😭😭. We mostly use the RV Parks Restrooms and showers. That toilet is mainly a nighttime use.

one toilet seat foe 9 people?
We mainly use this toilet at night time. The campgrounds and RV parks have restrooms and showers!
