I have been screwed by life for about 20 years. Losing functional use of my left hand & foot. I adapted decently with the 360 controller by getting a 2 button mod 1 button about where my ring finger rested on controller for LT & another slightly behind it for LB. I then put a circle piece of velcro on top of left Thumbstick and along the left edge. I’d put a thin fuzzy winter glove on with every finger cut off but the thumb. Each time I’d play I’d put the glove on and my tgumb would stick to controller. I’d then nudge my middle right finger against the battery pack and tilt the controller with my right wrist to move me in my main multiplier game Halo 2-4. The fulcrum/pivot point created by pressing in allowed my right hand to manipulate the controller & thumb had enough strength to press and hold for bursts of time but I could NEVER move fluidly, strafe- be agile. Always moved in straight lines and I hope this will work with my Adaptive Controller to allow me to move smooth but if I use the XAC to plug in to move, will the movement on pad still allow me to aim and use the buttons to map to buttons on controller? A set up guide for say BF1 or Warzone on Xbox Series X would be great cuz Hslo 4 was last game with positive KDR. Tired of getting 💩 on, I quit not long after getting Series X. Thx.
This device will not work plugging into the Xbox Adaptive Controller. It will work on the Xbox console with the Keymander 2 adapter though. Using the Keymander 2 adapter on the console, you will be able to move, strafe, etc. and be able to map the buttons to any control (or combination of controls) that you would like. There are enough buttons on the Azeron Cyro for all the controls and more that you'll need to play any game and you will be able to access both left and right joystick functions.
@@gamingreadapted what other devices will I need to set up the controller/adapter? I have acces to a Windows 10 or 11 laptop but I personally own a MacBook. You cannot swap the functions on the device itself for which one works as the left and right joystick (the mouse pad will automatically be mapped to the right joystick with the adapter). However, you can use the console settings or in-game settings to swap them. The Azeron Software (available on Azeron's website) allows you to change the settings on the Cyro such as button and joystick mappings.
That's sick. I was pondering picking up one of these, but I think I'll stick with the Azeron Cyborg and get this for my brother. Great video, well structured and presented.

I’m really gonna have to think about this. Can you do a video into programming the devices buttons for specific functions? I don’t know how( maybe after getting used to it after awhile) I’d really have access to all the buttons simultaneously, liked I did before left hand functional loss because yes, it’d be easy to get used to moving with the thumbstick and scrolling to aim, I’dstill have to find the correct button out of 50 that did- A, B,X, or Y, then LT, LB, RT, RB, and D Pad. I’ve come up with my own device that would work perfectly to replace the left stick for the Xbox or PC ( in conjunction to an elite controller or similar that has paddles on right handle to replace LT & LB but would only be useful to people with left hand paralysis/amputation/arthritis, so you’re talking about 50% of those who game and have left stick movement problems and play on PC or Xbox( cuz don’t think PS5 allows you to use 2 devices as 1 like Xbox). I read on azeron that what keybinds you make in their software , those are the keys that will be linked to your ps5. So say you make A the pickaxe on pc in azeron cyro and you make it the first button on your left, then when you plug it into the ps5 that A pickaxe in fort still should be the first left button
What adapter would I need to play on: PS5? Xbox Series X? Could I just map buttons & plug into Xbox Adaptive Controller’s left USB port so have the thumbstick be the left stick & moving CYRO on mousepad be right stick? Gotta be an easy easy to buttons, triggers, ABXY, D Pad on all 4 axis. Should have buttons on keypad with different textures or some way to tell digging feel.
To play on the XSX, the KeyMander 2 adapter would work. With this adapter, it will map the mouse pad to the right joystick and the thumbstick to the left joystick. For the PS5, you will need the Cronus Zen or the Besvior adapter.
Great review. I use the Azeron Cyborg and am wondering if you know if the Azeron Software allows me to set both the Cyro and Cyborg up and switch back and forth depending on the game I am playing. Thanks.
You will be able to program both with the Azeron Software. If they are both set up as mouse/keyboard controllers, then you should be able to have them both plugged in at the same time to game and switch between them.
How long is the return window on this and is there a restocking fee or hindrance on returning, as I’d like to see if It’ll work, if I could map ABXY, ( up,down, left, right on D Pad) LT, LB, RT, RB, select, start all on the keypad & somehow tell them apart.

So I lost function of my left leg and arm and I can’t really get to my desk to use the Azeron as a mouse. I do have a bedside table but I can’t really get to my console either to play my disc games or attach the adapter, keymander, and use it. My ps4 is in my closet and my tv is basically on the ceiling, above the closet. I was in the hospital since last year so I don’t really remember the sign in and I tried the recovery but it’s not working. Got any tips?
You can use the KeyMander 2 Adapter to play on the PS4 using the Azeron Cyro. If you watch the end of the video it talks about the KeyMander 2, which can also be used for the PS4. You do not need remote play for that. You may need an extended USB cord in order to get the mouse to reach from bed. The KeyMander 2 will also need a DS4 controller plugged in to authenticate it to use it on the PS4.
It has fairly good support and everything can be adjusted to ensure good fit for the user. It is fairly light weight though to allow east movement of the device.
I have a few questions about this so first I want to know if I can get it for left hand and right. I’m thinking two of them with no mouse function and using it like a controller with a mad amount of buttons. Would it even be possible to use the joystick for tracking? And if so can you use both mouse and joystick at the same time for tracking? I’m very interested and would really love some answers.
Yes, you can get it for both left and right hand. The mouse pad will control mouse tracking on the computer or the right joystick on a console (using an adapter). The joystick on the device can control the WASD buttons, arrow buttons, or the left joystick in a game.
What adapter are you using to play or are you playing on the computer? You should be able to use the Azeron manager program to assign one of the buttons to access both of those simultaneously if you want or you can assign them next to each other so they are easy to press together.
Parts of the device are 3D printed, you would have to reach out to the company to see if they could print it thicker. It is fairly durable if you are not too rough with it.
You can try adjusting the mouse sensitivity either within the Azeron Cyro program or on the computer. That might help with the aiming/camera sensitivity. Otherwise, it will just take some time and practice getting used to using both on one hand.
It could, but you would have to purchase an additional adapter that would be compatible with those systems. Brook sells converters that may allow you to play with an analogue console.
@@gamingreadapted thank you for answering my question... are you talking about the "8bitdo adapter 2" I have that adapter so I think I'm good, if not what dapter would i need?
