Yea. Me. Last year I suffered from a stroke that took out my left side and I’ve been slowly get strength back. I’m currently attempting to learn to play monster hunter world with the Xbox controller I currently game with and it’s a challenge lol. Anything PvP in a shooter is still out of reach for me since it’s hard to strafe but I’m definitely interested in this mouse 😊
Wow, this brings back memories! The Azron Cyro had some help in development from a disabled veteran, Jonathan Miller, who lost the use of his right arm. It took four years to get it into production, going through so many changes to become what it is today. I was there during the first year and a half, volunteering my input and working back and forth with the design team. As a one-handed gamer myself, I know the struggle of buying gear that just doesn’t work right. So, I decided to work with a company and help create something that does. Seeing this story out there now is incredible! ruclips.net/video/ubN6Ot5TVFI/видео.html just mt veterans card.
That's my nephew Sean so proud of you Sean that was a great interview video You looked really happy little nervous but happy.. That's so cool that there's a controller out there for people that want to play one-handed or that have to play one-handed it's about time they started coming out with something like that yay 😊💙 The Azeron's cyro pretty cool
it is super encouraging to find this video and the help that your nephew Sean gets from such a simple device - i too would love to see this information propagated and more devices of this type in production by all the game device manufacturers !
i had a stroke and use a cyro, absolute phenomenal piece of kit, mad respect to sean for his service to your country and just keeping on pushing, i know how hard it can get in a way but loved this video!
It’s wonderful to see veterans reconnect with other veterans. Y’all need each other like no other. You guys have a special bond that should never be broken because you share an experience that makes you better together than apart. It warms my heart to see you guys find new ways to reconnect and stay that way. Thank you my son Nick for the help you’re giving. It’s an eternal work that has a reward in this world and the next. You’re a blessing to many🫡❣️❤️
Just wanted to start up by saying, thank you to everyone who watched and support this. And to all of Nico's supporters. This is just the start. So much more can be done to make these devices more mainstream. Adapting for different disabilities, and different limitations. So many more people can benefit from this than you can think. When to be honest these Can be used first so much more than gaming. You can use the Cyro and more than likely can use future devices for video editing, customize the inputs to open applications, or automatically input text. Hopefully these devices become more of a focus, and we can start to create different varieties. This goes bigger than gaming and disabilities. I am glad to have been a part of this. I look forward to doing whatever I can do to help get these devices to those who need them, and to those who can use them for content creation or other purposes.
@Sean thank you for serving and making such a sacrifice for our country! I am grateful uou madenit back, and so happy that Nico and his group made this happen. My father, Captain Dennis Greene, USMC, would be so happy to see all of this connection and recovery from depression. Your resilience and grit are admirable. If any of us can help ...please reach out !! I am sure uouband Nico could collaborate on some more creative ideas for these designers! Semper Fi! Stacey Greene
Thank you for highlighting the needs of disabled people! Would this be workable for productivity use typing? I’m bed bound and because I lie on my side I can’t use a standard keyboard- I’m looking for something I can use one-handed and wonder if this could be it?
Helen, I use an Azeron Classic. You can cover many keys on the keyboard with an Azeron product. To cover all letters and most typing symbols you would need to use 3 different types of key inputs on the Azeron. This is a very advanced style on using the Azeron. It is doable if you practice with it. You would need to program this within the software. You can give different commands via pressing the keys 3 different ways (short press, double press, long press). For example: You can assign one key to the letters 'A' (short press), 'B' (double press) and 'C' (long press). And continue along with each letter of the alphabet. Something like that only requires 9 keys for the whole alphabet (there are a lot more than 9 keys on the device). This is just one example. As you get used to the device you can switch letters of the alphabet around on the keys (i.e. all vowels as single press commands) that fit your comfort level. There is also a feature where you can press down one key and it brings all the other keys to a whole new set of commands while that one key is pressed (I would imagine using this feature to access things like commas, periods, question marks, etc..). This all requires time, patience and, ingenuity. It is possible. Using the Azeron relieves massive pressure on the wrist, arm and, elbow when you use it. It is a great device for people with carpal tunnel syndrome and damaged phalangeal bones. If you have determination this device has the versatility to get what you may need?
I have recently lost all functionality on my left hand and ran into Azeron only this week. This is definitely what I need to keep gaming, but they don't ship to Brazil. Luckily, the internet boom in the late 90s, early 2000s means I have a global array of friends and I will have it shipped to one of them and they will ship it to me. We definitely need big players in this market making accessible input devices.
Hello good sir I go by the handle Jon Draco the charioteer I have cerebral palsy I been playing blizzard games for many years since 2008. I'm an avid fan of World of Warcraft I recently discovered the company featured in this video. the way I have adapted to online games is by using the razor Naga mouse. And by hitting the buttons with my thumb. The reason I can tell you all this is because I would like your opinion do you think I could utilize this please respond
Hey Jon Draco, it could work depending on how much agility you have in your fingers. On the Cyro, your thumb works the thumbstick and the keys use your fingers. Would be a switch from the Naga you use.
Do you know someone with a disability that could benefit from this?
i saw you in a vc on regiment discord server and checked out your yewspewed page -
wow - what a great video !
Godspeed to you sir !

Hey Helen! Thanks for the comment! This particular device is not ideal for typing.
