You got the CYRO for your left hand. I am guessing you use your mouse in your right hand? Getting a CYRO and not using the mouse seems odd? Why did you not get the other type of Azerons that are designed for non-mouse usage? You mentioned the scroll feature on the wheel is not recognised as a mouse scroll. I would guess some key should give a good mouse scroll function on the CYRO? Ive had the Classic Azeron for years. Having the thumb button just a slider wouldn't be as useful. It takes getting use to but gives you thumb so much versatility. Also, in your video you show the Azeron programming screen while you are describing you controller. Blowing up the video of your hand moving about the controller would have been easier for me to watch what you are describing.
so i am right handed but also semi ambidextrous. i can use a mouse in either hand. so while im not using the mouse side of things on the device currently that doesnt mean i wont in the future. the reason i didnt get the other types of devices they had is the cyro was the one most like what i was after. i used to use a razer tartarus v2 gamepad. which had a directional pad on it. but ive been getting tired of the shotty quality from razer lately. the switches in their devices have been failing far faster then then should. the "grip" on this comes off faster and more easily. such as the grip of a mouse wheel this is partially because they use a rubber center that adheres to the wheel rather then making the wheel a more solid piece. had the same thing happen with grips on mice, keys breaking...overall their quality is diminishing and their program synapse 3 is....quirky at best. i have an old razer naga mouse that works well but all the grip tape melted off it cause it was one of the first versions and is wired. ive been expirementing with the cyro you can adjust alot of things about it and make you computer think its other things or have a turbo mode run multiple iterations to increase scroll speed. their software while not as multi purpose as say razer synapse 3 switching profiles between games/programs on use. the fact that you can make the system think what it wants. store and load and run multiple profiles makes it very good. the slider im refering to is still an analog stick type ill try to find a video example next time i do one as ill do an update of my progress of learning to use the cyro. its just something that would be more compact and have less physical movement but still give you the same operation as an analog stick like a ps5 controller does. its just a preference and could be incorporated as an alternate customization. i will also have to rewatch my video to see what i said as i barely remember. and i will ensure to have a wider view of my hand next time. it was a test setup as i have just gotten a mount for a camera for that view. i also play from a couch not a desk so there are some usage caviates as i dont have a big solid surface but i have a solid wood overlay for my armrest that im going to try the mouse part out on. thanks for the feedback and comment im always working to improve things and just want to help other with an informed decision.

Is the hand position like a vertical mouse?
yes its like an ergonomic type mouse where its like holding a can of soda or something.
